Everything from the lighting to the finishes speaks of design done right. The highlight? Their cocktail-meets-coffee game. I highly recommend the Nitro Martini Latte — the nitrogen infusion gives a smooth rush that thins the boundary between espresso and evening drink. Perfect for a lunch break that wants a little “cheat” without dragging into the night. Yes, they’ve got WiFi and outlets, but let’s be honest: this isn’t a “plug in and grind” workspace. This is a “kick back and savour” kind of place, especially since the public library is just around the corner for contrast. So bring your laptop only if you must — really, come for the experience. And one more thing: on the parking lot you’ll spot an old food-truck turned mini-exhibit about the Pachoco subculture — the wild middle ground between 1920s jazz gangsters and modern low-rider Latino style. For someone who’s been to 100+ cafés, that’s a first and it makes Leyenda memorable. "Wow! Didn't expect a spot this trendy or delicious on a West Texas road trip. Seems like it belongs in Marfa or San Diego. Eclectic soundtrack spinning, a fabulous mezcal selection, and my chilaquiles verdes with asada are surprisingly spicy (in the best way) and utterly delectable. This is definitely a culinary highlight of the region...sad I don't live closer to it."

"Yes definitely come!!! Place is awesome, makes you feel you like you just step into a Mexico City restaurant. From the menus to the chairs, very authentic and different theme. Food was great! I eventually order the Aguachile plate with a side of rice. Staff was super awesome and very attentive. Well groomed and very polite."

"If I could leave zero star reviews I would. I love this place for brunch but dinner wise never again. Who ever was in charge today on January 3rd 2026 at 8:30pm was the worst ever. We were here for two hours and only had one drink. Got my sampler and no silverware at all. No where to be found and then when asked where our drinks were he said they were making them yet no one was behind the bar. Asked for our tab and he was mad we did. When asked to split our tab into 3 he came back with the same receipt just crumbled up. We even asked who was drinking us or him and he said both. We paid and realized he DOUBLE CHARGED US. I have never had a horrible experience and this is the worse ever."
