"Wow. Wow. Wow! I traveled from Tennessee to do some sightseeing all around Texas. I ended up in Gruene not sure if I’d find much. This was the 1st places I stopped to eat and I am so glad I did! I order the lunch special of half chicken salad sandwich and half slice of spinach tomato quiche. The serving size was perfect for lunch and within my first bite of each, I was amazed. The chicken salad had excellent flavor with a good amount of chicken. The quiche was phenomenal and the perfect temperature. I am not vegan and find “healthy” restaurant food to be hit or miss at times. This did not disappoint and was absolutely delicious. I will be back. Thank you!"

"So I decided to take my kids here the other day to get smoothies for breakfast before having to take one of my kids to the babysitter and taking my other kid to the airport. I ordered 3 smoothies and AFTER ordering, the guy said they were busy and might take longer than usual. I had 20 min to spare and thought surely wouldn’t be longer than that. After ordering I watched as he proceeded to take order after order, as more and more people continued to walk in to order, while completely ignoring making the smoothies. I just couldn’t understand why he couldn’t take 1 order, then make one smoothie, then take another order, then make another smoothie. That would make sense right? Nope, he just took order after order regardless of whether the line was never ending. Finally after 20 minutes when I absolutely had to leave, I went up to him and asked how much longer. His literal response was “I don’t know” but that he had at least made 1 of the smoothies. I told him I would take the one smoothie but needed a refund for the other 2 bc I no longer had time to wait. I didn’t realize it in the moment bc I was in such a rush, but after looking at my charges and refund it just made no sense. I was charged $37.97 for all 3 smoothies, 2 large 1 small. The smoothie he gave me was a large, so I should have been refunded for the other large and the small. I only got refunded $20.03 for BOTH the large and small smoothie I never got. How on earth did I practically pay $20 for ONLY 1 smoothie, but only got $20 back for the TWO smoothies I paid for but didn’t get?!!! So you’re telling me I paid $20 for ONE smoothie that I had to wait 20 min for, and then basically had to let my kids share so they wouldn’t be hungry bc I didn’t have time to stop anywhere else, when the guy could’ve just easily made the smoothies between orders?!! No. That is so unacceptable, especially for an established business. And it sucks bc I’ve been going there for years and they have good smoothies and food, but this experience was awful. I met the owner several years back and he’s a really nice guy but not sure if he’s still the owner. Either way this experience sealed the deal for me so I’m not going back again… Messed up system, and ripoff pricing…"

"Nice spot in Gruene Lake Village with vegan options. We visited on the Second Saturday open so there was only a few people trickling in. The smoothies, sandwiches, and wrap we ordered were good. My wife enjoyed the mushroom soup but was disappointed with the pasta salad. We will visit again; also good to know now that they have a 15% discount for educators!"
