from Google & Yelp"11- 07-24: I've seen this building under construction for the past several months and later found out it was going to be a coffee place. On Wednesday (11-6-24) I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised at the decor and the coffee selection. I did have a small issue: walked in and it seemed like no one noticed me come in. There was no marking where to place the order so I searched for the cash register and found it. As I looked at the menu board, no one asked me if they could help me. They (3 employees) all seemed to be busy doing coffee stuff, but not a glance over to me for acknowledgment. After a few moments (seemed like minutes) someone did ask for my order. I get it, it just opened and maybe everyone is getting used to it, but this is one of the first things for a business to do: customer service. A little tip: advertise that your business is opened: didn't see anything showing that. There is another coffee shop within walking distance from your coffee shop (green and white color logo) and if you want some of their business, you need to step it up a lot. I did notice that construction is still going on - mainly decoration, but that doesn't bother me because it shouldn't affect service. I will be coming by another day to see how things go. I wasn't expecting a design on my coffee and was pleasantly surprised. Additionally the almond baked good was very good as well as the coffee. I didn't have to wait very long for everything to be served. UPDATE 12-30-24: My family and I visited on this day and compared to my previous visit, the coffee shop is completely finished with construction. The coffee crew has improved from the first time I visited: more alert, helpful (I think the first time, they were in training and we shouldn't grade then for that). Ordered a sugar free vanilla cappuccino for me and a breakfast taco (even though it's the evening - you can eat tacos anytime). These tacos are huge! Also ordered 2 more drinks and a pastry and according to my family they were delicious. My cappuccino was great. What made this visit extra pleasant is the hometown feel, the extra effort in helping out. I love how they use nice coffee cups and plates. The coffee art is beautiful and it's the cherry on top"
"This is the best coffee place in pearland. Seriously, don't bother going anywhere else. I have been going here for years, my favorites include the Black star blend, any of their lattes, breakfast tacos, matcha and the strawberry matcha *this is THE best item available only during spring unfortunately*. I have been to all of their locations and never had a bad experience. They play the best music and have really attentive baristas. Never been disappointed going here! Please go here if you can! Each of the three locations are designed to offer you different things. The one in friendswood is spacious has fewer people, the smaller one in between friendswood and pearland is great for drive through and quick service, the one near the tracks has a neat outdoor area but have some patience as the parking can be full and there might be a line."
"Went through the drive thru with my mother which we liked for that convenience. Once we saw the menu we were glad that there was a variety of options to choose from. I wanted to try their matcha (plain, whole milk, hot) and it tasted so amazing. it was perfectly sweet for my own personal preference and also vibrant green. I also tried out their jalapeño sausage cheese croissant (delicious) and they are huge which i believe the price is reasonable for it. My mother tried out the southdown latte and she loved it i kept seeing her take sips every second. We definitely found our favorite pearland coffee spot 💗"
"The coffee is really good. However, 90 percent of the time they are out of the Date nut bar and the yogurt. Once I even got charged for it, paid then they realized they were out , said they would issue a refund but never did. About half the time they don't take your drive through order at the sign in advance and will blame it on you for driving a truck and lately, some of the female staff has been very rude. They don't even reciprocate a "Good Morning" or "have a nice day" , just no eye contact, silence and just a slam of the drive through window closing. I Hope things change back to how great it was when they first opened."
"We've been big fans of PCR for years and were super excited for the expansion. I absolutely love the Old Townsite and spiced miel in particular, which are always made well. At this particular location, however, you have to triple check they get the correct milk. I can't have whole milk so always order with an alternative, but today marks the fourth time that I've been given a drink made with whole milk even though I had the upcharge of a different milk. The drinks, food, and people are all amazing, but this is a little annoying, so just double check!"
"PCR was on the verge of closing and within 18 months, they've opened their second location! I'm so glad this local business has survived. They're located in..."
