"I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Summer Moon Coffee—welcoming and relaxed. Ordering was easy, and everyone at the counter was super nice, especially Shelby. I don’t like my drinks overly sweet, and she took the time to ask detailed questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Because of that, I ended up with a drink I truly loved. I would definitely go back again!"

"Rude Friday morning staff. Other negative reviews about the atmosphere and staff attitudes are accurate. I ordered the carrot cake and asked the cashier not to give me the piece on top. He acknowledged. I paid and went to pick up area to wait for my food. I turned around and see a girl (another reviewer posted a picture of a girl that looks like her) warming the carrot cake and the cashier asking her if it was the top piece. She responded and he responded with a “oh well” hand gesture. When the girl gave me my order i looked in the bag and asked her was it the top piece. She first said idk and then said yes. I informed her that I asked the cashier not to give me the top piece. She says it’s no big deal and that it’s all the same. I said it’s not all the same and if I’m paying for something I should be able to get what I want. Then she puts her hands up saying it’s no big deal again trying to portray that I’m overreacting and causing a scene when I’m simply telling her I want to get what I requested and paid for. Then the cashier gives me the piece I asked for and say sorry i forgot to tell her. I did not bother to tell him that I literally saw the whole interaction that he had with that girl when he saw it wasn’t the piece I wanted. I doubt that they “pride [themselves] on exceptional customer service”. Based on other reviews, it’s a consistently rude staff, and they obviously do not address anything."

"I kid you not, it was so cold in this location that my breath was showing. I thought I was hallucinating seeing fog in front of my eyes, but no, the person who I came with confirmed it. Other customers were studying with their coats on so maybe it’s a normal thing? They play the music so, so loud at this location. I had to ask twice for them to turn it down (loud rock music) and each time they looked at me like I was insane— didn’t apologize, just said “yea” and then gave eachother looks before swiftly turning their backs and turning it down, like, one notch. A bunch of friends (?) came in but maybe they were starting their shift because I saw them go behind the counter. They entered quite literally hooting and hollering: “YOOOO WHATS UP DUUUUDE AYO IS THAT MY GUY AHAAA” kind of yelling. Everyone in the cafe was just staring at them. I love a culture that promotes a fun work shift. But have respect for the fact that you work at a cafe, not a club. Turn the music down. Also, retrain your employees on the recipes because the other Summer Moons actually taste right :/"

"I have been coming here for a while , and I will admit the coffee is pretty good if you come on a good day… but honestly I’m writing this review because no matter how many times I’ve come here each and every time the workers have an attitude. And when I read the recent reviews I was not surprised… I saw that they recently had a sign posted in the store saying that if you write a 5 star review you will receive a free 5$ reward… I don’t get why instead of buying out reviews the establishment could at least have them wear name tags so customers can report those who have been being rude to customers. I would love to be a consistent customer at this place but the customer service is making it hard for me to even want to come back… I never get this weird treatment at the nearby Black Rock or Dutch Bros"
