What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"From the moment you walk in, you can feel the love, care, and harmony behind this place. The cleanliness, the quality of the food, and the way everything is prepared truly show that this is a business built with heart. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful — very farm-inspired and warm, with a lovely space for chickens that instantly catches the attention of children. You can see how happy and engaged they are, which makes the experience even more special. The flavors are incredible, the environment is peaceful and joyful, and the energy of the place is something you can truly feel. This has officially become my favorite breakfast spot in the city, and every time I visit, I’ll definitely be back here. Highly, highly recommended!"
"A home in the past, now its a coffee shop that privides for the locals. This place can seat about 40-45 people roughly indoor, and 40-50 with outdoor seating. The interior is nicely done with the classy vintage ceiling. Coffee was good as well as the croissants. Service was quick, a shout thanks to Michael our server. Prices were comparible to other coffee shops in the area. For those who are lactose intolerant, they offer Oat, Almond, and Coconut milk. Good place for a business meeting."
"The food was amazing!! Fat girl loves a fresh, buttery, flaky croissant. The food was scrumptious! The service however was lacking. I asked a question about what came with the croissant I ordered and I felt like I bothered the cashier. I don't think she looked at me at all while taking my order or taking my payment. I ordered the croissant béchamel, I was unaware it came with a salad. I would rather have had potatoes for breakfast than a salad, and I was also unaware that ranch dressing came on the salad. I am not a fan of ranch. I think if I had better service when ordering this could've been made clear."
"Absolutely love this place!! The staff are always kind and the food is always fantastic!! They have free wifi, and a large outside area to hang out as well as a nice interior to hang out in."
"I used to go to the CommonWealth near San Antonio College and loved their food and coffee before they closed. This CommonWealth is a comfortable spot for lunch or coffee. I had the turkey sandwich, which was fresh and well made, and the iced mocha was smooth and nicely balanced. The outdoor seating area is pleasant, and the chicken coop adds a bit of character to the space. There’s parking behind the restaurant, accessible through a one-way street. Service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a solid place to relax and enjoy a good meal."
"Commonwealth is just such a beautiful vibe, their food is really delicious and very home tasting. This location has a front and back patio with a chicken..."
