from Google & Yelp"What a Gem! The RIGHT place to stop if you are looking for a more cozy spot than the hustle and bustle of the Pearl. I came in for a cinnamon topped cappuccino.. it was brewed just right with fresh espresso, plus it had an airy and tasty foam to top it off! This place has a unique and cool art and a tasteful atmosphere. I also love there is 2 levels with outside seating, plenty of space to work and sip coffee, & trails nearby to the Riverwalk! Great Service and friendly baristas as well. Thank Y'all!"
"Today I find myself at Crème Coffee Social, located adjacent to San Antonio’s Pearl district. Crème’s owned by the neighboring restaurants, which explains the high end finishes. In terms of the decor, Crème is one of the more tasteful coffee shops I’ve experienced. However, there is something to say about trying too hard. I’ve ordered my customary cappuccino, a bit dry, in a mug. For those readers who are traveling to the US from a foreign country, you will see in time that unless you specify the mug, a paper cup is the service of choice in the US. I know, don’t get me started. To this end, high marks for Crème. My cappuccino benefits from the roast. Not sure what’s going on in this part of Texas, but the roasts have been the star of the show thus far. The elixir was flavor forward, although leaning a bit on the wet rather than dry side. As for the craft, let’s say it’s a work in progress. A practice if you will. Given the attention to detail throughout Crème, I would have expected they not neglect the finery of pouring a cappuccino. Overall, I would say Crème Coffee Social holds its own among the coffee shops in San Antonio, with some room for improvement. Certainly worth a second visit. Enjoy."
"I visited this place for the first time today and I was just in awe! The coffee 10/10, it was the absolute best vanilla latte I’ve ever had but the service??? The service here was AMAZING. The sweet girl who took my order was so kind and patient. The overall place was beautiful too!! I will definitely be returning!"
"Great coffee, a little bit pricey but on par for the area. They have some nice breakfast treats and savory options as well, and the usual coffee and tea fare. The seating is VERY nice, no hard wooden or metal chairs here. They have very heavy marble top tables and a large wooden table in the kiddie of the shop with cushioned chairs and power outlets. Overall it's a great place to try out if you like to study in coffee shops and cafes. All of their seating other than the tables are velour vintage style loveseats and chairs, and the art is an odd play on modern vintage. There is plenty of covered outdoor seating as well, if you can brave the heat in summer. Parking is a little tricky (one way in and out to the front off the cafe, but not terrible (more parking on the side of the building. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, because the only issue I have is that is not open long enough for me. I'd love it if they could extend their hours until 7 or 8 pm on weekdays."
"Finally got a chance to visit this quaint little hidden coffee shop. The shop and seating has a cozy retro feel to it. The staff was very nice and offered some great suggestions. I had a cold brewed coffee with half and half and vanilla flavoring and a very decadent warmed red velvet muffin with pieces of rich chocolate. It was super tasty. I definitely will be making another visit to try other menu items."
