"This look like a high-end coffee bar, so much so that at first I thought a waitress was going to seat us. Turns out it’s just a local university hangout. We got our usual coffee, cappuccino for my wife and a latte for me. Both were kind of flavorless and tasted a bit burnt. Not sure why. The staff seemed friendly and the atmosphere is nice. I wouldn’t classify this as a bad coffee shop. Come for the location in downtown San Marcos, for the nice atmosphere, but if you’re just hard up for coffee; this isn’t it."

"went there today for the first time and was super excited to try it, the atmosphere was one of the best i’ve seen in san marcos and it was very clean! However the baristas acted like they did not want to be there, only one barista acknowledged me even though there was 3 starring right at me. When one of the baristas was taking my order she seemed very uninterested and i asked a question about the sizes (because i’ve never been there) and she blank faced looked at me and pointed out where they were. Overall just felt very unwelcoming, but the coffee was great!"

One of the standout features is the retractable walls, creating an open-air feel that makes it feel like you’re sitting outside while still being indoors. We ordered a Flat White and a Matcha Latte, both well-prepared and flavorful. A nice touch—they asked whether we wanted the matcha sweetened or unsweetened, something many places overlook. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a friendly staff that adds to the experience. Definitely one of the better coffee spots in town. A solid place to grab a drink, sit back, and enjoy the vibe."

"Jonesin for coffee while driving through San Marvelous and couldn't wait til we got to our destination. Found this accidentally and were not disappointed Walking in takes you back to a bygone era: art deco every where and cool 50s comic strip posters. Place serves coffee and and limited pastries. They also sell cbd infused drinks as well as domestic beer. Had cortado and they pulled a great shot. Also had their nitro cold brew and it was equally tasty and smooth. Staff was great and informed us this was their 3rd location; other two are in SA. Definitely a cool place to hang with great music and seating areas"
