What People Are Saying
from Google"The food was genuinely enjoyable. Eggs were cooked just right, the pancakes had a pleasant vanilla note, and the western skillet was flavorful and satisfying. Portions were reasonable, though the pricing felt a bit on the high side. Unfortunately, the dining experience didn’t quite match the quality of the food. Our seating area hadn’t been cleaned properly—there were crumbs and bits of food left behind, which was hard to ignore. The ordering process was a bit frustrating: several items I requested were out of stock, and each time I had to pivot to something else. It felt like a guessing game with the menu. We received our food fairly quickly, but oddly, no utensils were provided at first. It took nearly 10 minutes to get them, which meant sitting and waiting while our food cooled. Our server even said the utensils weren’t ready? Napkins were also delayed, and syrup took about 15 minutes to arrive after asking. None of us received drink refills during the meal, which was surprising given it was around 11 a.m. on a Saturday which is typically a busy but well stocked time for a breakfast spot. On the bright side, our server was friendly and clearly doing his best under the circumstances. He seemed embarrassed about the shortages and delays, which helped soften the experience a bit. Also there was a bizarre bathroom smell in the building."
"Mateo did an excellent job explaining the menu during our first visit. His friendly and knowledgeable service made the experience even better. The food wasn’t anything overly fancy I must say. For a quick , want to get out the house and eat something but might need to double back through an in and out line this isn’t the worst option."
"If you are looking for slow service, zero sense of urgency, and employees sitting on their phones, this is the place for you. We came on a Saturday during brunch, and there was only one waiter handling the entire restaurant. That alone set the tone. The cost cutting measures are painfully obvious and it shows in the experience. Maybe consider hiring enough competent staff who actually work instead of burning the clock. Waiting 15 minutes for a single coffee is completely unacceptable and honestly incomprehensible. The food was average at best. You can easily find a better breakfast at almost any standard café or brunch spot. Nothing here justifies the wait or the frustration. Definitely not worth returning."
"We went this morning for Christmas breakfast. The atmosphere was lovely, the food tasted great, and our waiter was fantastic—he was the only one working and did an amazing job handling 6+ tables on his own. Unfortunately, about an hour after we got home, our 1-year-old became ill and threw up. About 30 minutes later, our 6-year-old also got sick and threw up, and several hours later my wife and I began feeling queasy ourselves. Aside from getting sick afterward, the food itself was delicious and the service was excellent. We’re hoping this was an isolated incident, but wanted to share our experience. Merry Christmas!"
"After trying the other location I was very happy this location lives up to expectation! I love the vibes of this place, very trendy and cute without being kitschy or “instagrammy”. The staff were very nice and prompt and everything you could ask for. Our waitress was very nice and attentive without feeling rushed. The hills skillet was 10/10 & well worth the upgrade to the blueberry signature pancakes for the side! Also really appreciate a cafe that also has very good coffee. Definitley will be back!"
