from Google & Yelp"Scott’s Drive-In seriously took me back — in the best way. I’m a small-town Texas girl from Lampasas, and this place gave me all the nostalgic vibes of our local joint, Storm’s. From the crinkle-cut fries and juicy burger to the chili cheese fries that hit just right, everything was fresh and delicious. The inside feels like a time capsule — classic red booths, checkered floors, old photos and Route 66 memorabilia lining the walls. And the cherry on top? They played 80s rock the whole time we were there — it just fit. The guy at the counter was so sweet and welcoming, and the prices were super reasonable. Honestly, this place deserves way more business than it looked like it was getting. If you’re passing through or live nearby, stop in. Good food, great service, and that cozy, old-school energy that’s getting harder to find."
"Excellent local stop for great burgers and more. I love all the burger options, fries, onion rings, etc. They recently added a shrimp basket that is amazing! Treat yourself to a cherry limeade to wash it all down. You can expect to wait several minutes more than you would at McDonalds, but I assure you it is worth the wait!"
"Quaint little drive-in with plenty of nostalgia adorning its walls. This gem is still around for a reason. Good food, good service, and clean restaurant. 5/5 all day long!"
"This was my 1st and last visit. My husband and I decided to give this place a try for lunch. We waited over a half hour, eating into most his lunch break, for our order only for my chicken tenders and fries to come our burned. I was disappointed. I bet the chicken and fries would've been good if they weren't burned. I didn't complain because we had to leave, so my husband could get back to work. He wasn't really impressed with his burger either after hearing about how great the burgers are here. I understand it takes a while to cook to order, so I'd order in advance if on a time crunch."
"The food was a solid one star. I would dare say the burgers were flavorless. Nothing special. I ordered steak fingers for my kiddos and they weren’t able to eat them because there was SO MUCH salt on them. We paid $60 just to wait 35 minutes for our food. I was excited to find a new favorite restaurant but this was not it. At least we tried it but we won’t be back."
"Beautiful setting on the river, with great patio. Inside are plenty of great booths. Tried the country fried steak, which was tasty and tender. But the..."
