from Google"My mom told me and my sister about this place and she did not let us down!! I got the banana bread chai hot with oat milk…. PHENOMENALL!! Takes the spot as my favorite chai by far!! It had the perfect amount of creaminess and a wonderful banana bread taste. It’s so cute in there and the employees were all so nice! Will definitely be returning soon!"
"I’ve seen a lot of reviews of the chai at Tres Gatos so I finally had to try it for myself. I was a little nervous it would be a spicier chai because it was homemade but it was perfect! Still sweet but it tasted like a real tea. I got the iced chai with lavender cold foam which I’d recommend. Excited to come back and try their other cold foam flavors. The hot oatmeal cookie coffee was also good! Staff was friendly and helpful!"
"On my way to work, my GPS decided to spice up my morning and rerouted me past Tres Gatos. From the outside, the coffee shop looked adorable, so naturally I did some online “research” to prepare myself. Pro tip: their specialty drinks aren’t on the drive-thru menu, so Google menu photos came in clutch. I ordered a medium iced John Wayne. I originally asked for a large, but the barista kindly warned me that a large iced is 32 ounces—aka a commitment—so I scaled back. The drink was good, though a little lighter on flavor than I prefer (totally a me thing). The cold foam was impressively airy… maybe too airy, as it disappeared within minutes like it had places to be. Overall, the drink was solid and the barista was super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely go back—just with a different order and maybe a stronger flavor next time."
"I have been coming here for a few years now to get a chai about 1-2x a week, and have recommended this place to almost anyone that mentions they want to try a coffee shop. This week will be my last week. I ordered a small chai (no alternative milks), and a muffin. The total was $14.50. For $14.50 I could have gotten a whole meal from most restaurants around here. On top of that, the muffin was “warmed,” but it was cold inside and dry, with a burnt taste (which you can kind of see in the picture). If I wanted to pay almost $15 for an overpriced chai and a dry muffin I would have went to Starbucks, but it probably would have been cheaper there! Don’t think I’ll be coming back."
