What People Are Saying
from Google"We were in from out of town to visit the Moab trails. We stopped in for a drink the place is a great spot to stop in briefly for a friendly few drinks and admire all the stickers on the wall. They didn't have food available when we stopped in but I'm sure with the location and how comfortable it was to be there, it's good. Charlie the bartender was great with a upbeat attitude and great for a conversation!! Definitely a much needed stop when you are in town!."
"We went there for superbowl 2025 the bartender “girls” are not the friendliest AT ALL. The front door lady for superbowl was a sweetheart. The owner lady was awesome, the cooks where you have to order were also very friendly and their food was AMAZING! The owner thanked us for choosing her bar out of all other places. The bartender girls are very rude and bitter, we heard this from other people at the bar as well. This was our second time and last time at this place. We still left these crappy bartender girls a great tip hoping they would share with the front door lady and the cooks. Please please if you are the owner teach those two girls about customer service, they were BOTH awful, one of them said they were “the manager” Our party of 6 specially my husband and I have traveled the world as you can see from my reviews….. Also make sure you pay cash and if you dont, check your card the next day…. So disappointed been to Moab sooo many times at different places this was a ONE AND DONE - should have listened to the locals… Get better staff at the bar because they are the reason why your place gets a 1"
"Last night, I unexpectedly boarded a cruise ship in the middle of Moab—the legendary Worlds Famous Woody’s Tavern. I came in solo, but from the moment I walked through the doors, it felt like I was stepping into a lively ship full of good vibes and great people. At the entrance stood two captains—friendly faces making sure everything ran smoothly, giving warm welcomes like true pros of the sea. Inside, the real magic unfolded. Behind the bar were the most stunning blonde bartenders, with smiles that could steer ships and charm that could calm any storm. They handled the crowd like seasoned sailors—mixing drinks with style, grace, and a sparkle in their eyes. Watching them work was like watching an elegant dance on deck—confident, smooth, and mesmerizing. The live musicians were nothing short of sensational—no jukebox needed here. They filled the air with music so good, it pulled everyone to the dance floor like waves pulling the tide. I tipped them $40 without a second thought; they deserved every penny. There was a pool table on deck, where travelers played and laughed like lifelong friends. Most guests had walked from nearby hotels, which made the atmosphere easygoing and stress-free. And for those who drove, parking was a breeze. Although I didn’t try the food, the energy of this place was more than enough to satisfy. Woody’s Tavern is more than a bar—it’s a desert cruise full of soul, rhythm, and heart. It’s the kind of place that turns an ordinary night into an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommend this voyage to any traveler passing through Moab. Raise your glass, set your course, and enjoy the ride aboard the Woody’s!"
"The vibe of this place was absolutely fantastic. Exactly what you want when you're looking for a dive bar. The night we went was karaoke night, and I've never seen a more joyful group of people having so much fun singing at the top of their lungs. There are a few pool tables, the drinks are reasonable and the locals are friendly. Had a blast."
"Dive bar. Great place if you just want cheap drinks in Moab and don't need any frills. Stopped here before heading back to our campground. Drinks reasonably priced and place worked well for our group of 4. The place is old (est 1962) and simple; had I been on my own, I would not have stayed. Food was not available until after 6 pm. Service was fast, but just ok. For example, our party ordered a Blue Moon beer but was served Shock Top (without the bartender asking us if the substitution would be acceptable) because the bar didn't have Blue Moon."
