"I discovered Alpha Coffee quite by accident during a work trip to Salt Lake City last summer, and it instantly became one of those places I knew I had to come back to. So when I found out I’d be returning to Salt Lake just for the weekend, this stop was non-negotiable. Not only do I fully believe in their mission, but they also serve one of the most incredible cups of coffee I’ve ever had. And I say “one” very intentionally—because I’ve never ordered anything else. My drink is the Aztec, and it’s honestly the coffee I dream about between visits. The chipotle syrup and cinnamon are what originally drew me in, but I never expected such bold, unique flavors to create a full-on party in my mouth. That sharp, spicy kick from the chipotle hits just after the sip, and it’s fantastic. The location is right downtown near the convention center, with a cool vibe and plenty of seating upstairs. It’s a great place to slow down and enjoy the experience. I wish I had an Alpha Coffee back home—but at the same time, I love that it gives me something special to look forward to every time I visit Salt Lake City."

"Better than the Starbucks across the road!!! This place is delicious. The vanilla frappe was the perfect hit of coffee with the sweet notes of vanilla in each sip. One of the people with me got The Spartan - it was a good strong coffee drink. Another got The Viking - this is the perfect fall drink and not too strong. The Viking was a good cozy, hot drink perfect for fall and they agreed. It was also very spacious inside with an upstairs area that had bars for working and charging. The staff were very nice and (thank you for the sticker!) I wish I had one of these back home."
