"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife has been staying at the Grand America since 2014, and I’ve been joining her regularly since 2022 as we travel to Salt Lake City from Pennsylvania for business. BONNE VIE is always one of our favorite stops during our visits. This charming little café inside the hotel consistently delivers some of the best coffee we’ve ever had—and we consider ourselves coffee connoisseurs. Whether it’s their handcrafted espresso drinks, fresh pastries, breakfast sandwiches, or indulgent milkshakes and ice cream, everything is top notch. The staff is always friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. On this particular visit, Austin went above and beyond—super helpful, kind, and polite. We’ve stayed at some of the nicest hotels in the country, and BONNE VIE continues to stand out as one of our favorite spots anywhere. If I could give it six stars, I would. Highly recommend stopping here whether you’re staying at the hotel or just passing through Salt Lake City."

"This is a great little bakery to stop at within the Grand American Hotel for breakfast, coffee, and some afternoon treats. The bakery is small but beautiful inside, and the prices are fair."

"I stopped at Bonnie Vie because when I came back to The Grand America housekeeping was cleaning my room. I ordered two scoops of ice cream, pistachio, and pumpkin spice latte. I was surprised and disappointed at the quality of the ice cream. Normally good ice cream is creamy and smooth. This ice cream was low on flavor and icy. No smoothness at all. If you love ice cream, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This is the first thing after many stays at The Grand America that I found wasn’t of an extremely high standard."

"Cute little coffee area with seating. Staff is alright. They let you wait and stand there talking and not even greet you until they’re done talking. Probably need more training. I only bought Matcha and luckily didn’t try the pastries because other comments!"

Also of note: Austin, Noah, Madeline, and Idalia at this sweet, cute, vibrant cafe are truly wonderful human beings and they make my day every time I see them!
