from Google & Yelp"Inside the old Union Pacific Depot. The station is beautifully restored and maintained. The Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), which built the eastern portion, primarily employed Irish and German workers. (The Chinese built the Central Pacific Railroad (CPRR), which was the western portion of the Transcontinental Railroad.) Tables and sofas are sparingly placed, helping to preserve the ambiance of an old railway station. It’s a great place to stop for a drink and cup of coffee. The bathrooms are in the Asher Adams' lobby."
"Very cute coffee shop that has a fun little merch side and some items outside of their coffee shop items. The menu is small and although food is available, it’s mostly breakfast only items. I ordered an ice matcha latte but unfortunately it wasn’t mixed well and wasn’t my best beverage experience. Not sure if I would order that again (or any drinks?) here but might be open to trying food. It’s a nice play to lounge around though if you come stay the Adams Asher! Cute for the aesthetic but might need more work on menu options and the actual preparation process."
"Amazing service and atmosphere, this place would benefit from some better signage outside, pretty difficult to find the location, I dont go to many coffee spots cause nothing can top my own espresso, but this place has amazing grinds, I appreciate a good coffee so will be my go too when im feeling the pick me up"
"Expensive coffee but a nice place to get some work done"
"I love me some Counterpart! My day wouldn't be complete without a swing by my favorite coffee spot in the morning. Be sure to ask about their new employee-curated menu! Jaden, Alise, and April made my iced lavender white chocolate mocha and Asiago bagel extra delicious today and wanted to give them a shout out. Swing by if you are anywhere in downtown SLC... and they are the only coffee shop in the Gateway, FYI!"
