from Google & Yelp"I have been following old cuss for a while and I am so excited they have a store downtown now!! The creativity on their speciality lattes is so fun and I’m absolutely in love with the Black Currant Latte. The food was delicious too, we tried the Roderick Breakfast Sandwich and it was the perfect combination of flavors. We came in on a Sunday morning and it was busy, but most of the staff was very friendly. Our drinks got mixed up with another table, but the team fixed it as quickly as they could, which we really appreciated. Definitely recommend to visit!"
"Old Cuss Cafe absolutely lives up to the hype. We waited patiently for the new location to open, and wow… they did not disappoint. Classic western comfort plates done vegan, but elevated and executed perfectly every single time. We’ve already been twice for brunch and once for dinner, and each visit somehow tops the last. The space is warm and inviting, the food is deeply satisfying, and the owners are genuinely kind-hearted humans who care about what they’re creating. Old Cuss is officially a must-go in Salt Lake City. 🌱🤠"
"welcome back old cuss! how charming of a new space to be in! jazz overhead paired with great big windows to light a new array of café eats. is this Old Cuss' big sister coming out to play? Soft openings are always hectic, but the staff is pleasant, the ambiance relaxed and the smells enticing. Chatter from neighboring tables tell of the admiration and excitement shared by those who have stopped in to show their support. Vegetarians and vegans rejoice! Old Cuss offers classics breakfast plates with plant powered ingredients. as a non-vegan/vegetarian, Old Cuss is nothing to fear. If you're craving a halal experience, mushrooms are there to caress you into a new idea of what bacon can be. don't be misled by anything you think may be meat, you can trust that even the chicken is vegetarian and made in house. Even if meat substitutes aren't your thing, OC offers plenty of creative coffee choices and even fixes for the fizzy drink fiends. Old Cuss has weaseled its way into the veg community in Salt Lake City, and the opening of the café tells us it's here to stay. Welcome back, OC."
"The place is bright and open. The dining area was comfortable. I dined in had Avo Toast and coffee. The toast was tasty and had a decent portion size. The coffee was okay, but much more acidic and bitter than I expected. It was more like traditional diner coffee. My biggest complaint was the service. The cafe tries to be both table-service and counter-service. So I had to wait to be seated, and then someone took my initial order at the table, but then the staff sort of just ignored me and focused on the line at the counter, so I had to keep asking for more coffee, and the check. They should really just commit to one or the other. I would have been fine with doing everything at the counter too. Also, the prices seemed high. There were no cheaper, smaller breakfast items."
"Love the new location! I’ve been by for both brunch and takeout coffee. The brunch was delicious and if you like spicy you should definitely try the hot sauce. I love all of their fun coffee flavors and they’re pretty fast with it. I will definitely be back soon"
"I've never had such good espresso in my life. The food is also amazing and so is the staff. They're all so kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend"
