from Google"Strictly based off my 3 times being here this week for breakfast, while working across the street cleaning windows, this place is amazing. The two working the mornings, Ellie and Alex, are killing it. Really great coffee and absolutely bomber brekky sando. Keep up the good work guys 🤘🏽"
"I really like the food and coffee here but it often seems like they just wake up and decide if they feel like opening that day or not, despite posted hours saying they are open? I just stopped by at 10:30 am on a Friday and it’s dark and closed but the posted hours are 8-2 today. I work nearby so I pop by often and this has happened many times. Again, love the food and coffee! But I wish they’d actually stick to their posted hours.."
"I’ve been coming here almost every day this summer to study, and it’s easily my favorite cafe in SLC. The food is impressively gourmet for a casual spot. The avocado toast is fresh and flavorful, and the blueberry lavender French toast is unique and beautifully made. The staff are always kind and greet me each morning. The atmosphere is cozy and calm, with mellow music that makes it easy to focus. The outdoor patio is a great bonus, with both shaded and sunny spots depending on what you like. Out of all the cafes I’ve tried, this one has the best mix of great food, friendly people, and a peaceful vibe. A couple of small suggestions: I wish the menu were a bit easier to spot, maybe placed somewhere more central. I also think it would be fantastic if they stayed open later. Since it’s so close to the University of Utah, it really has the potential to become a perfect late-night study spot."
"Cutest campus coffee shop! Great food and drink and employees are really nice. Went in on Tuesday right before closing and they made me food, super nice."
"It's okay, nothing to rave about but not bad either. Tots, waffle and a small drip coffee came in at $11 after a tip. Not bad, but not exactly a cheap spot to grab lunch either. Comparable to campus prices, but we all know we are paying a premium for the convenience there. The coffee was good, but I wasn't a fan of what I ordered. The waffle had a weird texture, more like a biscuit, but with a softer/chewy middle instead of a bread-y one. I overheard somebody say it's vegan so maybe that's why it's a little strange...ha. Honestly I was kinda hoping for a diner style waffle so I was disappointed. Tots were perfectly golden, but I thought they were a little underdone. Not quite crispy enough on the outside and the middle had a slight bite of an undercooked potato. Sauce that came with was good! Staff was nice and friendly and it has a nice aesthetic. No public wifi-guessing that's to keep people from staying too long so they can turn over tables. Baked goods in the case under the register were no more than $3. I'd come back, but just for coffee and a pastry....skipping the menu food next time."
