"This is a case of “I don’t usually leave reviews, but….” Flew into SLC this morning for a sudden family funeral, so was not in the best mind space to begin with… Was exhausted and arrived to my hotel that’s near Switchpoint…only to realize that I could not check-in for 4 more hours (my goof). Heartsunk & bummed out, I strolled down the street to Switchpoint to kill a few hrs. Didn’t know what to expect from some little coffee shop near the airport; aim was for a decent cup of coffee at best… Walked into a place with tons of comfortable seating - ample tables and couches. A bookshelf w/ good books to thumb through. Good, mellow music from speakers that’d be agreeable to just about anyone. Very clean place. Food offerings both healthy & indulgent. My espresso drink was top notch. A staffer named Nadia greeted me with an alert and genuinely friendly presence and took care of me during what would have otherwise been the crappiest day ever. Did I mention that 100% of proceeds go to underserved populations (eg: the unhoused)? Highly recommended. Thanks for saving me, Nadia and Switchpoint!"

"Had an excellent experience. The staff was amazing and the food was some of the best food I've had at a restaurant in years to be honest. Everything from the coffee, to the meal, and to the pastries was fantastic. The place is cozy and friendly and open and I will definitely be coming back here in the future."
