"Our first time was not long after they opened. The home team was still there working out kinks. Everyone, the home team and the regular staff were so friendly and kind. We stopped to talk to one of the home team members to tell her how much we enjoyed the meal. We've been back twice since then. The food is SO good! One of my favorite things are the kettle chips. The first time they were a little salty/spicy for my taste (I don't eat salt so of course anything added would be too much for me) so now I just ask them to leave the salt off. They come out hot and crunchy -perfection for me. On the most recent visit, I had the grilled cheese sandwich and my husband had the BLT with fruit. His was chock full of crispy bacon and toasted just right. For me, getting a grilled cheese is always tricky. I have to send a few back because the cheese was barely melted or the bread was just short of burned. The one here was nearly perfect. My only suggestion would be to offer sandwiches on sourdough bread. I mentioned it to the server and was told it would be on the menu soon. They're still in the early phase of offerings. I think she said the grand opening will be in Jan so everything should be finalized by then. The whole restaurant is light, airy and very clean. Tables are spaced out so nobody should be cramped in or too close to other diners. For those who need it, the chairs are armless and the tables in the booths move for easy access. The bathrooms were a surprise - they have bidets! Just read the instructions on the wall outside before trying one. The Coffee Kettle Cafe is our new favorite place to eat. If you live out in the Hurricane/La Verkin area, stop in. If you're passing through on a trip, this is a really good place to stop for a meal."

"I was skeptical with this being a gas station diner but was blown out of the water by the quality of service and taste of food. As a family of 5 it’s hard to impress everyone — tonight there were no complaints! Biscuits and gravy, French toast, chef salad, French dip… all YUM! Priced great! 10/10 recommend."
