Not overly oily, they give a generous amount of masala, and the chutney (dipping sauces) are amazing! Also, their Gobi Manchurian appetizer was great!"

"SV cafe has the best South Indian food. I’ve been coming here for years, but the newest chef/management really know what they are doing and are extremely friendly. Their dosas and chaats are to die for. My favorites/go-tos are the Mysore dosa, onion rava dosa, dahi poori, gobi manchurian dosa, chikoo milkshake, and mango lassi."

"Incredible dosas and sambhar for lunch, plus rava kesari for dessert. This little cafe is a hidden gem in the same shopping complex as Asian City in West Jordan. Fast service and an expansive menu with helpful posters on the wall for people new to Indian food. Also loved the fresh Masala Chai. Will definitely be back to try the rest of their combo menu. (Also: great kids menu, and while some of the chutneys have good spice levels, it’s all served on the side so no one has to go spicier than they want.)"

"I hadn’t been to SV Café in West Jordan for a while, but decided to stop in since I was passing through. I ordered the South Indian combo meal. The service was great and attentive, and I appreciated that. The restaurant was quiet with no one else there at the time. The food, however, was just average for me. The dosa was good, but the sambar and aloo curry served with the poori lacked the depth of flavor I usually expect. There was some spiciness, but it didn’t quite carry the rich, layered taste that makes a great sambar or aloo curry stand out. When I compare it to my two favorite South Indian spots in Sandy and Riverton, SV Café fell a bit short. Overall, I left somewhat disappointed."
