What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Checked out this bagel shop based on a recommendation from some friends who have very good culinary taste, so I figured it was worth the stop. What was my impression? Not quite all that I had hoped it would be. While I wanted it to be a 5-star experience, I couldn’t get above a 4. Here’s the good: Ordering online was super easy — I picked what I wanted, paid, and got a text shortly after that my order was ready. I walked in, found my bagel waiting in the pickup area, and grabbed one of the few open tables. When I unwrapped my bagel, it looked fantastic — nicely covered in “everything” toppings and spread with the perfect amount of cream cheese at just the right consistency. Where it fell short: The toast. It felt like this bagel was only briefly startled by the toaster instead of spending a sunny afternoon on the beach in South Florida. I love a bagel with a good, hard toast, but unfortunately, that’s not an option when ordering online. There’s also no spot to leave comments like “Toast X2,” which would’ve solved it. The other minor letdown was the ultra-tiny iced tea for $3. It tasted great, but reminded me of those tiny McDonald’s orange juice cups that disappear in two sips. Iced tea is cheap to make — a bigger cup would go a long way! Overall: I really enjoyed the flavor of the bagel and the perfect cream cheese ratio. The iced tea was tasty, just small. I’ll definitely come back — next time I’ll order at the counter to make sure I get that darker toast I love. P.S. It’d be awesome if you added an online option for “extra toasted” — some of us like our bagels a little more sun-kissed."

"They don't lie to you about what they serve...Food, Coffee, and Vibes ✨ Consistently satisfying and ready first thing in the morning till late afternoon, Call Your Mother in Old Town meets you with a prompt and friendly staff. Even when jam packed with the line out the door the crew here always pulls through in acceptable time and I've always had an accurate order. With fresh baked goods every day, meat alternatives, and non-dairy milk options for coffee Call Your Mother will have everybody smiling. Aesthetic is very much Visiting your Mother's (or Grandma's) house in retirement. Mostly Florida Coast but also a bit of Arizona and SoCal. Retro, Floral, & Feminine are accurate descriptions and give this historic location even more character to pair with it's neighbors. All in all, great affordable spot for breakfast and lunch on any day of the week."
"This was my first time at Call Your Mother Deli and I was blown away! Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The place itself is spotless and very well kept, which made the experience even better. The employees were all so friendly and helpful, and I really felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. A special shoutout to the manager, Brenda, who went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience—she was warm, attentive, and truly made me feel at home. As a mom of a 5-year-old, I especially loved that they had a little space for kids. It shows how thoughtful they are about creating a welcoming environment for everyone."
"Bagels were okay, nothing special, but the schmearz was good. I had an everything bagel with garlic herb spread, my wife had a plain bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam, she enjoyed it."
