What People Are Saying
from Google"It was a pleasant experience, the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. The host and waiter were super friendly, super nice everyone was really nice. The restaurant was tidy and clean. I had stained or smujed glass of water, didn't like that. Talking about the food: I ordered, ● Sultan: Spicy lamb sausage, lentils, spinach s feta cheese topped w/ fresh tomatoes $ yogurt mint sauce. I will be hounst, the lamb needed more flavor, the lentils are not equally cooked and you can't even taste the yogurt sauce. There is alot of work to be done in this dish. ● Wild berry: dilecious. Food quality was great, survise was really good and fast. Would I come back? No, I would not."
"Crêpes Fontaine is a charming gem in Old Town Alexandria. The crêpes are simply outstanding — light, perfectly golden, and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Both the sweet and savory options are delicious, beautifully presented, and made with care. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a European café feel that makes you want to linger over your coffee. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, adding to the lovely experience. Whether you stop by for breakfast, brunch, or a mid-day treat, Crêpes Fontaine is a must-visit spot that feels like a little taste of Paris right in Old Town."
"Went in on a Wednesday late breakfast, had the Tuscan Crepe, Wild Berry Crepe, Espresso Martini and a Chai Tea Martini. All the savory crepes are gluten free and you wouldn't be able to tell, still has a great taste and texture. The Tuscan Crepe was delicious, reminded me of something my grandma would have made, Wild Berry Crepe was tasty, berries were perfect. While the food was great, the Martini's were the stand out hits, best espresso martini I have ever had, Chai Tea Martini was equally as good. The employees were wonderful, great personalities, easy to chat with. Definitely worth a visit!"
"Amazing food, friendly and fast service. We tried Pan roasted trout with parsley baby potatoes, Alsatian tartlet, and Just peachy crepe and loved it all! Indoor and outdoor seating. Full bar. Strongly recommended! 👍🏻"
"The Cafe is a cute hidden gem that had spectacular food and a lovely atmosphere. I am often asked why I did not offer five stars? The answer is always the same, pricing. For a group of two kids and two adults having not had a single alcoholic beverage, the bill tipped, $140 at lunch. This is NYC pricing without having the luxuries of Midtown. The meals we had were delicious, and the menu, while a little bloated, had a minor sense of organization. It was an attempt to be French while crumbling to the American-zation of the dishes. My Ham and Swiss sandwich was well prepared and presented. My children enjoyed their crepes and fell in love with the home squeezed lemonade. Service was quick, but a true French cafe always has a fresh pot of coffee brewing. It is a serious misstep to have customers wait for coffee. In Paris, no fresh coffee would mean no customers. Finally, if you have a few extra dollars to spend, it is worth a try. Though if you're a typical family watching their pennies, this isn't for you."
