"I searched Google for a coffee shop here on Richmond Hwy close to Mount Vernon area. On first visit the egg and bacon breakfast sandwich was great. Coffee is good and hot. Service was excellent and place seems clean. They got pancakes here too for my future visit!"

"Good home cooking by and with Grandma's recipes. The Roast pork loin with BBQ was just right. Tender pork, light BBQ gravy and nice vegetables. A refreshing change from chain restaurant fayres. JC was particularly friendly, attentive and helpful, patiently explaining unfamiliar dishes/ingredients. The pumpkin pie was not too sweet with nice spices. Highly recommended."

"The place is relatively small with limited seats and understandably limited servers. It takes a bit longer for your food but it’s acceptable. Food is very good. I got plato tipico: 2 eggs, avocado, fried beans, bread and plaintain. The plaintain is perfectly done. All in all, this is a nice little gem in the area if you are looking for quiet bfast/lunch diner."
