from Google"As a working parent of a toddler, I really wish more places like this existed! I was able to bring my daughter here to play, with supervision, while I got some work done and had a coffee on a day my nanny was not available. My daughter had so much fun with the employees and other kiddos! I opted to sit downstairs which is louder, but there is a quiet work/study space upstairs for additional cost. Before we left I also ordered food to go from Shorty's Deluxe. Childcare and food all in one 👌 Highly recommend Mulberry Lane for all the parents!"
"We recently had our three year old's birthday party at Mulberry Lane and it was amazing! Stella was an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly detailed, helpful in answering any questions, and was available and present during the event. We ended up renting out the entire facility and it was perfect. The staff were so attentive to the 20+ kids we had present and even did a volcano science project with them. The toys and games available are all high quality and very engaging for kids. They had the pizza, veggies, cake, and drinks all ready on time and even made adorable goodie bags for each of the kids. We were even able to bring over some beer and wine for the adults from Planet Wine next door. If you're looking for an entertaining new place to host your child's birthday party, I'd definitely recommend Mulberry Lane! We will definitely be back in the future."
"Mulberry Lane is such a fun concept for families! We had a great experience here and brought our family for lunch. The food was excellent and coffee drinks made perfectly by our barista, Sofia. She was very calm and efficient despite having several customers come in all at once! Would absolutely recommend!"
"As a stay at home mom, Mulberry Lane was a fantastic place to bring my 2 year old. He would have so much fun playing with the staff and other kids, and I got to sit nearby and catch up on life or work. Great set up for socializing toddlers without having to drop them off at daycare. The staff and manager were fantastic with the kids and always came and got me if my child needed something. I moved out of the area recently and Mulberry Lane is one of the things I miss the most!"
"I visited Mulberry Lane Café in Old Town Alexandria for the first time with my toddler, hoping for a fun and welcoming experience. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. When we arrived, no one greeted us or offered any guidance, which made things confusing for a first visit. The person at the counter was polite when I asked questions, but overall the atmosphere didn’t feel welcoming. In the play area, there were two adults supervising the kids. The woman who checked us in was kind, but the other one completely ignored my daughter. My toddler tried several times to play with her and the other children, but she was treated as if she wasn’t there. It was upsetting to see her being excluded and ignored the entire time we were there. I can’t imagine how she would have been treated if I hadn’t stayed with her. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but no child should ever be ignored like that. This was our first and last visit, and I truly hope they take this feedback seriously and treat all children with kindness and attention in the future."
