"Royal Restaurant used to be a breakfast buffet, and I recently went back after their renovation. The place looks beautiful with a fresh new design, and while the buffet is no longer available, the food and service are still great. Everything was well prepared, delicious, and served hot. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Definitely worth coming back for a nice breakfast or brunch near old town Alexandria ☕️🥞✨"

"Went to dinner with my boyfriend and i loved it! We ordered some devil eggs for appetizers and the tajin and corn blend well .for our entrees we bad the steak and scallop and prawn linguini and both were delicious. The atmosphere is really nice, and lastly as a person with digestive issues I’m glad to say i experienced no issues at all . Would definitely go back ."

"This was my second time going to Royal Restaurant with the changes made over the last few years. The brunch is still fantastic. The blueberry pancakes are wonderfully made. The salads are also great. And the decor is really inviting! I will most certainly be back. One item of note, do the reservation just in case. We got lucky that someone canceled on a Sunday afternoon but its definitely better to have the reservation than hoping to get a table."

"Second visit: breakfast was fantastic: started with tuna tacos, perfect contrast of crunch and soft tuna on a luscious avocado base. Eggs Benedict was spot on with perfectly cooked eggs, well seasoned hollandaise sauce. Service was efficient and high quality. The greatest testament to an establishment like this is consistency, and I look forward to coming back every time I'm in Alexandria."

"The portion size was good. Food was very tasty. I gave a 3 stars for atmosphere, because we were sitting under a vent that would turn on cool air then shut off every few minutes. Made it very cool on a cold day of 38 degrees today."
