"Tatte is pure café perfection. Their espresso drinks are next-level—rich, smooth, and expertly pulled every single time. I was encouraged to try the pistachio latte, and honestly, I’m still thinking about it. Creamy, balanced, and subtly nutty… it might be one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. They also went above and beyond for my son, making the most adorable hot chocolate with a teddy bear face in the foam. It absolutely made him feel welcome. It’s those small touches that make Tatte feel special. The pastry selection is unbelievable. From flaky croissants to seasonal tarts and scratch-made breads, everything looks (and tastes) like it came straight out of a European bakery. You can tell they care about fresh ingredients and handcrafted quality in every item. The apricot pastry I had was crisp, buttery, and perfect with my latte. On a separate visit, I enjoyed a flaky croissant breakfast sandwich. The whole place has a warm, rustic-chic ambiance--- bright, bustling, and full of that fresh-baked-goods aroma that instantly boosts your mood. Whether you’re stopping in for a simple pastry, grabbing breakfast (their shakshuka is well-done), or sitting down for a hearty sandwich or salad, the experience is consistently excellent. Tatte is the kind of spot you want to linger in—but also the kind of place that makes you wish it were in your neighborhood every single day. Absolutely worth the visit! "Tatte is LOVELY and well situated in Old Town Alexandria. Their beverages are delicious and some the unique flavor combinations are to die for. I’ve never been a huge matcha fan but as craze rages on, my sister convinced me to taste her Rhubarb Spritz Matcha at Tatte and I think I’m a convert. In the past, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed their chais and espresso lattes. We tried two of their breakfast sandwiches on GF bread and…needless to say, we will be going back as they were amazing! The desserts from the bakery (also GF) were some of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place with plenty of options and delicious food! The only thing that can occasionally be a little off putting is the register but 50% of the time they’re friendly and I get it, you gotta keep the line moving. :)"

"Large facility, with plenty of open seating. Not a good spot for an afternoon treat unless you're getting cake and cold drink. Ordered a bun, asked for it to be warmed up, but still not warm. It tasted it like what I imagine a packaged bun would be. Krembo was good... Just ask expected. Nice fluffy mirengue with perfectly crunchy coating. Iced mango & ginger cooler was meh. Syruppy and watery tea..."

"Great place for breakfast brunch or coffee. Homemade from scratch style. Spacious setting compared to other café nearby. Menu and pastries are delicious. A lot of African influence in their menu and floor decor. Highly recommend their pastries. I only wish their round tables were bigger. Maybe, Add a QR code to scan for menu as we are inline to order at register."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is my absolute favorite spot to work from. I can easily spend hours there. They have a great brunch menu and an excellent bakery selection. My go-to orders are the chicken pita, shakshuka, smoked salmon & avocado toast, and their blueberry pavlova. It’s one of my favorites!"
