from Google"Just came here with my family. Fernando was our server and he was excellent! He gave great recommendations: the crab rangoon and feta dip were my favorite!!!! The feta dip was a good portion, was veryyy warm and deliciously creamy. For entrees those in my group got the french toast, the halibut, the Salmon BALT, The Majestic breakfast and the harvest salad with hanger steak. The salad was delicious; it had pears and grapes and was perfect for the winter. Overall Fernando was perfectly attentive, very kind, and made our experience what it was! Had a great time!"
"Fernando did an amazing job providing recommendations. Great service and unique atmosphere. The feta dip was amazing. Loved the halibut dish. Was very flavorful and sitting in a bed of white beans. Fish perfectly cooked. Family loved their dishes as well."
"Ambiance: The space is beautiful with a warm nighttime vibe. It actually feels like a great spot for solo diners or anyone looking to chat with new people. The tables are close together, which makes it easy to meet folks. The bar was lively even on a Tuesday. It is a bit loud, but perfect if you are going for energy and social atmosphere instead of deep conversation. Location: Right in Old Town, easy to get to and a nice area to walk around. Service: Friendly, prompt, and attentive. No complaints there. Drinks: Just okay for me. They were not weak but also not impressive. They do have unique options like the pumpkin cider brandy which was fun to try. Food: Appetizers were fine but nothing memorable. We tried the crab Rangoon and the mussels with rolls. Interesting ideas, but something was missing in both. Pork chops were just okay. The burger and fries were the best thing we had. Overall: Cool spot for drinks and social energy, but the food did not land for me. I probably would not return for dinner, but I could see it being a fun place to grab a drink and meet people."
"We were able to get a table for 2 at 5pm on a Friday, however the host was a little off-putting telling us “well I can seat you, but we need the table by 6.” We said that was fine, however in reality that isn’t something you should be telling us.. tell the server and kitchen staff so they can speed up the service if need be. Anyway, we sat down and our server Suzanne was the best.. very friendly and chatty, with good recommendations! We bother ordered the Majestic (a 4 course selection) and were very happy with the portions. Not too little, but not too much. 6pm came and went, and no one said a word to us about having to need the table for a reservation. Honestly, I don’t even think we had our main course by 6pm.. so really what were they going to do? All in all, highly recommend. The food was amazing. The artichokes had a bit of a “pickle” taste, which I love. Crab Rangoon’s were creamy. Feta dip was delicious (tip, ask for extra bread-you’ll need it)! Mussels were tender. Harvest and Honey crisp salads were flavorful. And the Hanger Steak Frites was melt in your mouth! We can’t wait to visit again!"
"We dined at The Majestic late night and made it just before the kitchen closed around 10 p.m.—and I’m so glad we did! The food was phenomenal from start to finish. We started with the Crab Rangoons and the Oxtail Baklava, both of which were incredible. The crab rangoons were so good that we immediately ordered a second round. We also tried the Majestic Parker House Rolls—they looked beautiful, but they weren’t the soft rolls we expected and were a bit harder than we prefer. For mains, we had the Hanger Steak Frites, Ragù Bolognese, and the Zucchini Pesto & Fusilli. Everything was delicious, but the steak frites stole the show—perfectly tender, seasoned to perfection, and topped with garlic butter that melted in your mouth. Absolute standout dish. To sip on, we had the Majestic Old Fashioned and a whiskey on the rocks, both well-made and a great complement to the meal. The restaurant had an intimate ambiance. We chose a cozy booth instead of sitting at the bar, which made it feel even more comfortable. The service was excellent—attentive, warm, and welcoming, especially considering we arrived close to closing time. The bathrooms were also clean, though located downstairs. Overall, The Majestic has officially made my list of go-to spots for late-night dining with top-tier food, drinks, and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning!"
