What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"⭐⭐⭐ The Cafe has a fantastic vibe for a neighborhood cafe. The decor is bright and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly, making for a warm breakfast experience. It’s more than just a place for coffee, as there is a cute gift area to browse while you wait. Space & Amenities: The layout is well-designed with several tables and comfortable window seating. It’s an excellent spot for getting some work done, as they offer free WiFi and have outlets conveniently located under the counter at every window seat. Food & Drink: While the atmosphere was top-notch, the cappuccino was just okay—good enough for a morning pick-me-up but not particularly outstanding compared to the rest of the experience. Overall Vibe: Clean, bright, and very welcoming. It's a good local gem if you need a cozy place to sit for a while."

"If you’re a quiche lover, go here—seriously. I had the bacon and pimento quiche, and it was incredible. Perfectly balanced, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the visit. The café itself is absolutely charming—quaint and beautiful both outside and in. That said, the vibe was a little off. I sat at one of the tables, and because of the woven design, it was pretty dirty—which was surprising and disappointing since they had just opened for the day. It kind of broke the magic of the space. They were playing “Tell Me Something Good,” and mid-song, it got switched to something way more drab. It felt symbolic of the whole experience: everything looks and sounds great at first, but a closer look reveals something less inviting. It didn’t feel like a place meant for people to linger or settle in. Still, I’d go back for that quiche alone. Maybe the vibe will shift with time, but for now—it’s more of a grab-and-go kind of spot, not one I’d stay and soak in."

"Mae’s has great vibe for a cafe. The decor was bright, friendly staff, and a cute gift area that makes it more than just a cafe. You walk in through a very Instagram-able floral door. We tried the breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg & cheese on their house-made croissant) and the Bulgogi Beef Sandwich (48 hr marinated short rib). Both were flavorful, especially the Bulgogi, but were definitely over priced. The croissant was fresh but underwhelming, and the latte was just okay—nothing bad, but mediocre coffee for a cafe. Lots of seating that makes it a fun spot to relax, work, or chat. Staff was friendly and flavor is decent, but unless you are chasing vibes, I likely wouldn't come here just for food."

"My favorite place for a macadamia milk cappuccino or latte! The bacon pimiento quiche is to die for, the best quiche I’ve ever had. It’s a huge slice so I often take half home for later. The butter croissants are also amazing. Lots of fun goodies and snacks to shop for as well. The Legally Addictive salty-sweet crackers are true to their name!"
