What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"A Hidden Gem for Coffee Purists Simona Cafe is a refreshing standout that balances high-end craft with a warm, neighborhood feel. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is quaint and inviting—the kind of space that encourages you to linger. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the staff. They are remarkably kind and attentive, striking that rare balance between professional expertise and genuine hospitality. The coffee program is flawless. I began with a cortado, which was prepared with impressive technical precision. The milk-to-espresso ratio remained true to its traditional origins, and the texture was so exceptional that I was inspired to follow it with a straight espresso. The espresso featured an excellent pull—clean, balanced, and bright. It is rare to find a shop that respects the science of the bean this consistently. Beyond the caffeine, their flexibility is commendable. The kitchen was highly accommodating of my dietary needs, even customizing a fresh charcuterie board on the spot. Their commitment to quality shines in the details, particularly the homemade latte syrups and fresh spreads. What makes this a perfect brunch spot is the late breakfast availability; they serve their signature breakfast sandwiches—like the "Tyler" or "Wilson"—2:00 PM on weekends there after seeving lunch sandwiches. These sandwiches are elevated by their incredible house-made focaccia. Whether you are a coffee aficionado looking for a perfect extraction or someone seeking a cozy corner for a late-morning meal, Simona Cafe delivers. It’s an easy, high recommendation from me."
"Cute, small, local cafe that is constantly crowded and noisy. The coffee is good - I got their flat white and it was very well balanced. The brown butter hazelnut scone taste was good but the texture could have been better - it was a bit too crumbly. The cardamom bun looked really good but was stale."
"got an orange blossom latte and fancy grilled cheese. grilled cheese was sooooo good and was nice and filling which makes me think the price is worth it. i wish my latte had more flavor but their service was so kind and welcoming that i will be back to see which other drinks are more my preference 😊"
"Lovely little cafe hidden away off the main road with amazing coffee. Tldr; if my testament isn’t enough, there is always a line here which more than shows that others besides myself love this coffee shop. While small, the space is both well utilized and the decorations cleverly thought out. They also host a variety of community events, though I can’t yet comment on those as I’m still waitlisted 🥲. Overall highly recommend!"
"The best service, sandwiches, pastries and coffee in the area! Homemade focaccia, creative coffee drinks, good wine menu and even homemade granola for the pups. We’re regular customers and make sure to bring any visitors here. Martin is always so helpful and friendly, and the entire team and owner Jad’s welcoming atmosphere just keeps us coming back. Great outdoor seating, with covered and warm space for cooler days. Very community focused with book clubs and pop ups that always make me feel welcomed. Fancy grilled cheese and baklava latte are personal favorites, but even a simple cold brew is the best in the neighborhood."
