What People Are Saying
from Google"The food I’ve tried including the Peruvian Chicken and Fried Yucca have been amazing. I’ve been craving it ever since, but there is so much more on the menu I need to try. And there is nothing like their Mac & Cheese. For years I have been trying to re-create it and haven’t come close. Very friendly bartenders and management staff. If you go on a quieter night and run into Patrick and/or Paul, they are both gems. Lots of great bands and entertainment. Love The Renegade!"
"The Renegade is officially my new favorite spot! From the moment we walked in, Patrick and Paul made sure my friend and I were well taken care of—the hospitality was top tier. The food and drinks? Phenomenal. Every bite felt like a trip around the world, and the menu truly reflects that, with flavors from all over. What’s wild (in the best way) is that the ambiance doesn’t quite match the menu—it’s a rock and roll-themed restaurant, but the variety and depth of the food catches you off guard in the best way. Plus, they had a live band playing, which added even more energy to the night. Once you hear the story behind the chef/owner and his vision, it all clicks. It’s clear there’s passion, creativity, and intention behind every detail. Don’t walk—RUN to The Renegade. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later!"
"I cannot say enough good things about The Renegade. While they're well-known as a live music venue, they are so much more than that. I recently held a celebration of life there for my mother, who was inurned at nearby Arlington National Cemetery, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the start, Cathy made organizing everything incredibly easy. She was attentive, thoughtful, and handled all the details seamlessly. When we arrived with our group of 75-100 friends and family, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Patrick, who was absolutely fantastic. We worked together to create a buffet-style menu and an amazing charcuterie setup. The food was exceptional—nothing like typical bar food—and everyone raved about it. The atmosphere was perfect for our gathering, and Cathy, Patrick, and the entire staff made my family feel extremely welcome during a difficult time. What struck me most was how genuine everyone at The Renegade is. I felt an immediate connection with them, and their warmth and professionalism made a challenging day so much easier. If you're looking for a venue for any kind of event, not just live music, I highly recommend The Renegade. Thank you, Cathy and Patrick, for everything!"
"What a great venue for live music, but when you put the band and bar staff aside this place misses the mark. The place is a bar, not a Michelin restaurant, you can’t order burgers or wings or fries. Instead they have eclectic fancy foods that just don’t fit the space. We wanted to order bar snacks but nothing sounded good. I don’t want a salmon taco or grilled broccolini with my bud light Renegade chef. The security was really rude to us. We dropped something behind a rail and bright it to the guards attention. He told us if we try to reach over and get it he’d kick us out. Thankfully the bartender was kind and helped us get it. Finally, if you’re looking to get people dancing you need a dance floor, not a concrete slab."
"Came here for the first time last night!!! Wanted to hear live music + grab a bite to eat and this was the perfect place for that :) I sat at the bar and I never felt like I was being ignored, the bartenders were attentive ! Food came out in a timely manner and it was YUMMYY!! I had the chicken satay (came with noodles) and tried the chicken quesadilla too, both very good !❤️ The pop rocks were on and they were fun! Definitely knew how to keep a crowd alive (plus the songs they were covering were my 2000's faves haha)"
