"While visiting Charlottesville, we kept hearing that Bodo’s Bagels was a must-try spot—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. When we arrived, the line was already forming out the door, but the staff worked incredibly quickly and efficiently. We waited roughly five minutes in line and another five minutes for our food, which was impressive given how busy it was. The bagels were fresh, delicious, and definitely worth the stop. There was also plenty of seating available, which made the experience comfortable despite the crowd. Bodo’s Bagels did not disappoint and is well worth a visit if you’re in the area."

"I recently visited the Bodo’s on Preston and ordered a bagel to go. When I got home, I was horrified to find a huge clump of hair baked right into my food. It was absolutely revolting. For a restaurant with such a great reputation, this shows shockingly low standards of cleanliness and food safety. I even left a voicemail for management, but never received a response. I hope management takes this as a wake-up call to fix their health practices immediately."

"Staple of C-ville, Bodo's has the best bagels around. Love the jalapeno lime cream cheese on everything or onion bagel. Pro tip, if you're taking out and weather is nice, take your food over to the Rotunda near by at UVA for a great place to sit and have a bite."
