from Google"The Super Amanacer is a great stop for authentic Mexican food and groceries. You can order your tortillas “a Mano” and the come out thick, warm, delicious and filling. I had 2 al pastor and one carne asada, and they were filling and delicious. The red sauce/salsa is spicier than I would like, so taste test first. I’ve also asked for salsa Verde on the side in the past, and it’s my favorite. The guacamole was delicious although we had to add some salt. That’s not terrible, though, because you can adjust easily. I hadn’t been to the market in a few years since they updated it and I’m pretty sure that you can buy anything that you need there now. I was looking for some items and the gentleman was very helpful. I got a tortilla press and some Maseca to make some of my own homemade tortillas as well. I enjoy the Jamaica hibiscus drink, and my friend loved the Horchata. I tried the Maracuja/passionfruit refresca this time, and it was delicious although pretty sweet. I just like to add water. I enjoy going to this authentic restaurant for a reasonably priced food and a fun atmosphere. I also tried to practice my Spanish and they are very kind. I definitely recommend."
"Largest selection I’ve seen anywhere of Central American foods. I can’t imagine what you can’t find here. Wonderful seasonal foods. Fresh tamales every day - handmade - pork, chicken and corn. Great prices. Restaurant attached. So many cheeses from all different countries. Fresh bakery. Produce that is hard to find anywhere else."
"This is my home away from home. Everything taste almost like my grandmother's food. So authentic. Absolutely love this place and a must visit if you love real Mexican food"
"This place has things you cannot find at Wegmans or Kroger, like: good deals on spices, cotton candy, large cooking pots, passion fruit jam, chocolate coating to dip bananas and other frozen fruits in, Pepinesa sandwich spread made with sweet pickles and pimentos, pineapple pie, ground shrimp, dried eucalyptus leaves (great for putting in a hot bath to open your sinuses and help you breathe better). I can't wait to come back and try some baked goods."
"This review is about the restaurant. Been going every once in a while since ming dynasty was in the current location and this restaurant was in the back of the market. Just stopped by and they did an overhaul of the menu. They changed the beans (from a paste --> solid beans) and the rice (yellow mexican --> white), both of which are not as flavorful as they used to be. My rice was undercooked. They also used to give out chips and salsa maybe over a year ago but I forgot when they stopped doing that, it just disappeared. Its a shame because the price increases to the menu make this place comparable to other places around town yet the quality of service and food has stagnated or gotten worse. I will say the portions are still pretty big and you won't leave hungry, but they used to be huuge, which makes sense for the blue collar customers I frequented here with. I hope they revert the recent changes. I get price hikes and portioning because of the economy but the quality of the food is not where it has been and should be."
