What People Are Saying

"Great café—super welcoming and family-run. Everything is made fresh, from the bread to the baked goods. You really can’t go wrong with a sandwich or the daily special. Today’s special was a thick Belgian waffle with crispy chicken. I went with the pesto cobbler, which was really good, and the Dubai brownie, which was also excellent. You can truly taste the care and from-scratch effort put into everything."

"If you eat gluten free, this is your bakery. Hands down, the BEST cakes I have ever had that use alternate flour. These cakes are not dry and crumbly, but soft and flavorful. Whatever baker Donna is doing is brilliant. We ordered a double chocolate layer cake, which was a huge hit with the entire family, despite the slide that happened in a 4 hour drive. The toasted almond Bundt cake is positively dreamy. If you love almond/almond flavoring like we do, you MUST get one. Your group will gobble it up in a hurry."

"I have a wheat allergy and was excited to finally find this place open when I went by. I bought several items and had a sandwich dine in. Good: The taste was OK and owner was friendly. Clean. Good location. Bad: Other gf bakeries are better. The texture and flavor of goods was ok. The owner made negative remarks about another local bakery which isnt appropriate and the statement was actually untrue. The hours arent consistent."

"Owner is extremely responsive and helpful with diet restrictions. I can’t have gluten or dairy and I still had plenty of yummy treats to choose from! I messaged her asking about dairy free items (after hours) and she still responded within an hour. I saw a bad review regarding the pricing of her items and I just want to remind everyone just how much it costs to buy gluten free flour, all the other ingredients needed, the labor with baking and the energy it takes, as well as making sure cross contamination doesn’t occur. Even if I were to go to a regular bakery it will seem expensive until I really think about the cost of ingredients. I have been to several gluten free bakeries and her prices were extremely fair. Give it a try!"

"Yum! Calling all my gluten free foodies this hidden gem is the perfect spot. While it's a little far from me Donna makes you feel like family every time you walk in. The first time I ever came we had a great conversation. The homemade gf bread is delicious so you must try a Panini when you visit. The baked goods are so yummy and if you call in advanced she can make some items such as cinnamon rolls etc. I have yet to try them but it's next on my list. The ube bundt cake has been my favorite baked good so far! If you aren't use to coming here you may overlook it as there isn't a larger sign signifying where it actually is."
