"We stopped here for breakfast after a long drive from Washington DC and it was such a great decision. Britney, who served us, was incredibly sweet and full of positive energy. She made sure to check in on us, ask about any allergies or preferences, and took our order with real care. Everyone working there had that same friendly vibe which made the whole experience feel welcoming. I tried the raspberry dark chocolate mocha and it was honestly one of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had. It wasn’t too sweet or too strong, just perfectly balanced. I’ve never had a flavor like that before and now it’s something I’ll be craving again. The food was also good and paired really well with the drink. The place itself has a cozy and relaxed feel with a touch of charm that makes you want to stay longer. Would love to come back and try more of their coffee flavors and maybe some of the lunch options too. This place just makes you feel at home."

"I'm glad we took this pit stop to historic Draper. There is a little complex in the quaint little village and it has different little shoppes right alongside this Cafe. I'm a little confused about which one is the cafe we had breakfast in and which one is the coffee shoppe, but all I can say with certainty is that we were in the building on the right side... looking at the parking lot from the road. Inside the cafe there were adorable mini stores that had things from decor to candy to paper products to natural market and kitchen gadgets. As for the food, I wasn't attracted to anything specific on the menu so I asked for two eggs and buttered grits and that was no problem at all. I wasn't very excited about my grits... I'm sure some people would have loved them but they seemed very thick, creamy and heavy and were not hot, which was a bit off-cutting. The photos shown is my husband's meal, which was the first item on the menu and he had a hard time finishing it. He added the pimento grits to his and he did not care for his grits either (and they were also only just warm). Now, take into mind we are northerners and we we are not grits aficionados. However, we do eat them regularly at home and especially when we come south, which is often. Our server was lovely and very efficient and sweet and they had plenty of staff to help everybody in a timely manner. The food came out very quickly. The coffee was quite tasty and the amount of coffee options was staggeringly fun. Before we ordered we thought we'd be taking some dessert along with us on our ride to Gatlinburg from here, but sadly, we could not fit another thing in our bellies."

"This coffee shop is a gem !!! It's a must visit when traveling through I-81. The coffee here is exceptional, both the latte and iced latte we got were amazing. The iced latte, in particular, was extraordinary. Hands down, this was definitely the best coffee stop we've ever made while traveling through I-81."

"I don’t typically like to leave bad reviews and try to keep things positive, but I think this needs to be addressed. I’ve usually been a fan of the Draper’s Coffee Shoppe, but today I got a hot peppermint mocha to go. Initially, it tasted wonderful. But as I continued to sip on my mocha, I noticed there was a bitter taste. I decided to open my cup and saw several round chunks in my coffee. My husband thought that maybe they were peppermint candy, so I took a sip and tasted one of the “candies.” I quickly realized where the bitter taste came from - they weren’t candies, but instead there were several mushy raspberries. I wish I would have taken a picture, but we quickly dumped the drink. We were on the road traveling, so we couldn’t go back to address the raspberries. I tried to look at the menu to see if maybe the peppermint mocha called for raspberries in the drink, but I couldn’t find anything. My husband was certain that he ordered just a normal peppermint mocha. I really enjoy The Draper Village - the staff are all friendly, and the environment is wonderful. But, with my drink’s surprise today, I think it might be a while before I visit again. Just for further clarification: My drink was not a shake but a hot mocha. There were also several raspberries in the drink, which is no biggie. Just a strange taste with the peppermint, and some of us have to be a little careful with seeded fruits due to dietary concerns."

"Everything about this place was perfect. Simple, but well executed. JoDee was an amazing server. You can't fake hospitality, and she is legit. As is the food. We ordered one meal to split. The kitchen put it on 2 plates for us and, if what we each of was a HALF order of grits, them the serving is huge. I guess what actually happened was they saw an opportunity to go make it special for a customer and they took it. That's the kind of special touch that makes a place extraordinary. If you're ever passing through Draper, VA, check these guys out. 100% worth it."
