"Shore dog rocks! A cozy spot for a quick meal, order at counter and they will bring your food to a table. Drinks though are on the counter tee and they don’t call names so you just have to keep a lookout. Nice bakery case with yummy treats. The avocado toast is delish! The breakfast sandwiches are tasty! The back room is nice too, we have had several events there that they hosted. Such an accommodating owner and staff! And I love how they support the local community by having book signings and displaying artwork ! And stop by the store next door for even more lovely shopping!"

"This is by far one of my favorite coffee shops. Every month the moms of Mocha Moms, Inc., RVA Chapter (we're a non-profit organization for mothers of color) visit a new coffee shop in RVA and we love to show our support for small businesses. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Plenty of space with access to multiple outlets (a plus for us). The wall artwork and fireplace are an added touch to that homey feeling. The staff and service were great. I ordered the hearty oatmeal bowl with fresh fruit and brown sugar. Delicious and very filling. The barista suggested one of her favorite lattes and I'm glad she did. Sorry, I can't remember the name of it. Shoredogs will be added to the rotation and thank you for the great service."

"Wonderful lunch today! Stopped by after a Historic Garden Week tour because we noticed that this place was an event sponsor. Beautiful dining room with all of the gorgeous art. Our server behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. Even though she was busy, our order came out quickly. Delicious tuna melt. Planning to come back to try breakfast!"
