What People Are Saying
from Google"As a Texan, I fell in love with this place as soon as I saw a Bluebell ice-cream sign upon entering, shining like a beacon of hope for the tastebuds against an opposite wall. This business also sells bagged Texas tamales, of which this Mexican girl bought several. And the flavor did NOT disappoint, what a surprise to find authenticity so far from home. From the creaky wood floors to a worn Chesterfield sofa, this place has character and history. The owner and his wife were incredibly kind, accommodating, and down to earth people. My breve was tasty and they had options to serve my dietary restrictions. There’s a general store in the back with toiletries in stock and other necessities for those who may be visiting from out of town. Even the beautifully unique bathroom design left an imprint on my mind. I can’t wait to go back again and try more items on the menu!"
"I like the vibe of this place, it has a nice charm to it. Coffee, deli sandwiches and an array of groceries/snacks. Wagyu steaks for $10 per pound is legit. My family and I stopped by for sandwiches and I have to say they’re delicious! Fresh ciabatta bread, solid cold cuts, perfect ratios in terms of fillings. My only issue is the price point. The sign on the sidewalk says all sandwiches are $11.50 and inside they range up to $13.50. Don’t get me wrong, the quality of the sandwiches is worth a higher price point. It’s just at $13.50 I was hoping for a small side of chips or at least a pickle."
"The prices just keep raising. I used to love going here it was so fun for linedancing but now it's so expensive for no reason and for a cover charge.. It's ridiculous. It should be less expensive for the cover charge so people are more inclined to buy drinks/food or whatever. It's very greedy. You're the only place in town that's like this lower your prices. People should consider not going to this place anymore- on other note that staff really needs a new attitude. Nobody is welcoming and there is horrible customer service. It's really disappointing. I have witnessed many accounts of the staff being extremely rude to other people. Management you really need to take this into consideration."
"Great news there is nice new, little niche grocery store/coffee bar in Downtown Lynchburg within walking distance of several neighborhoods, mine included. They offer a wide selection of basic necessities, such as groceries, dairy products, cat litter, beverages, etc. Also they have a full delicious coffee bar. Great addition to downtown."
"This place is huge and has everything from grocery items to coffee, liquor, baked goods and gatherings in the back. The design is so unique and creative. The coffee was a little weak and not that great but I would definitely go back and try other things."
