"Invited to a 6:30 PM dinner by Turkish friends at My Cravingz Bakery Cafe this past Friday, we stayed for live music until closing at 10:00 PM. Cravingz serves traditional Turkish fare using the freshest ingredients that are masterfully prepared, attractively plated, and served by attentive, friendly, servers. The atmosphere is authentically welcoming. Our dinner began with an earthy, savory lentil soup brightened with a squeeze of lemon juice, accompanied by cornichon pickles and croutons. I didn't use the croutons because I ordered simit to enjoy with my soup. Simit is a sesame-crusted circular bread estimated to have originated during the Ottoman Empire in the 17th century. Cravingz's simit had a perfectly crusted exterior and a chewy interior. Soup and simit were followed by delicious, succulent, tender diced shoulder of lamb. The lamb was accompanied by bulgur and sautéed bell peppers and onions, and the dish was served piping hot. After dinner in our quiet corner of the expansive restaurant, we moved to a larger dining area on the other side of the restaurant that had been transformed into a club, featuring a live band performing traditional Turkish music to the delight of the audience. While enjoying the music and conversation, we savored rich pistachio baklava imported from Turkey, along with bold Turkish coffee and tea. I noted that Turkish ice cream is on the menu, also imported from Turkey, which I will order on my next visit to Cravingz. Cravingz delivers a festival of authentic Turkish flavors folded into a meaningful cultural experience. If you have a craving for unique dining experiences, this is a spot worth visiting."

You can feel the touch of Chef Leyla in every dish, real Turkish flavors and amazing quality. The prices are very reasonable for such a high-quality dining experience. We especially enjoyed the breakfast spread, muhlama, pide, and grilled vegetables. Everything tasted perfect! The atmosphere is stunning spacious, elegant, and comfortable. The decor and plants make you feel relaxed while enjoying a special dining experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming as well. We will definitely be back and highly recommend My Cravingz to anyone looking for great food, great service, and an amazing ambiance!"

"What an incredible treat to find My Cravingz and meet the chef! Our waiter Ahmed was spectacular guiding us through the menu and making suggestions. I had the Mussaka which was excellent and my husband had the manti ravioli. Both were absolutely wonderful. I can’t wait to go back and try many more dishes in the menu and must visit the bakery every chance we get. Don’t miss the chance to experience real Turkish coffee and the handmade baklava!!"
