"Service was great, but the food was lacking. Make reservations via Opentable. The service here is gracious and kind. The heated popovers with strawberry butter is delicious as always. The salmon with asparagus tasted reheated as if it was cooked the previous day or two. It was a $40 plate of reheated food. Not great or a luxurious feeling to associate with NM. Space is rather compact. But perhaps I got spoiled by previous visits to the San Francisco NM Cafe, which is near perfect."

"Had late lunch at cafe this afternoon. Even though they were closing soon service was exceptional as usual. Wait service always makes you feel welcome and never rushed. Food selections were unique and so delicious. The espresso martini by far was the best ever."
