from Google & Yelp"Loved it. Chairs and tables for sitting and drinking your coffee and reading. Many books to buy. Very good selection. Friendly employees. Can't wait to go back for a different coffee. So many combos to choose from"
"The coffee tastes good, but the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired. After visiting, my family and I all came down with a virus—can’t say for sure it came from here, but the cleanliness of the tables didn’t inspire confidence, as they don’t seem to sanitize thoroughly between customers. The AC doesn’t work, the toilets were out of order, and the place just feels neglected. Something else that stood out: this location used to be an old ice cream shop, and they’ve left the old ice cream buckets behind a glass case, still covered in frozen ice. Instead of refreshing the space or making it feel like a proper coffee shop, it looks like leftover remnants from the past, which comes across as trashy rather than charming. The drinks themselves are tasty, but the lack of upkeep, maintenance, and overall presentation really holds this place back from being somewhere I’d want to return to."
"Rivers Edge Coffee Company is a delightful coffee shop that combines excellent brews with warm hospitality. The coffee is consistently good, featuring rich flavors that can satisfy any coffee enthusiast. The staff are friendly and welcoming, adding to the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the place. A unique touch is their selection of local clay mugs available for sale, which not only supports local artisans but also offers visitors a charming souvenir. Whether you're a coffee lover or just looking for a pleasant spot to unwind, Rivers Edge Coffee Company is definitely worth a visit."
"I typically go to Starbucks for my coffee and sandwich. But wanted to try this place out because it’s locally owned. I spent the same amount that I would have Starbucks, almost $12 for a sausage egg and cheese bagel with a large “pumpkin spice” iced coffee. The service was great. Very friendly. The coffee drink tasted like it was mostly pumpkin spice syrup, which was sour, lots of milk and then a touch of coffee. When I drink coffee, I want coffee. I ended up throwing the whole drink away because it was so bad. The sandwich was terrible. It was so overcooked that the sausage was a brick. I didn’t eat that either."
"Yum! We were looking for a place to get coffee while visiting family for the Memorial Day. We didn't want Starbucks and we like to frequent the smaller, local coffee places back home. So when we saw this place show up in our search for coffee, it looked right up our alley. I liked that they had a good selection of latte specials with predetermined flavor combos. You don't have to get those preset combos, but they got my interest. I got an iced Aloha latte (vanilla, macadamia nut, and coconut) and it was so good. I highly recommend and I will be back."
"Coffee is still great but now there's a book shop inside, too. River's Edge moved down a couple store fronts into a cozier setting. Adding books gives it..."
