"I just adopted my boy from Cups and Claws (once Panther now Omen). It was a great experience all around. I was able to talk one on one with the staff about what I was looking for and they supported me every step of the way. I was introduced to Omen (panther) and he is truly everything I was looking for. He is still in base camp adjusting to being home but I can already tell he is going to fit right in. He is confident and social because of the environment the cafe provides. Thank you so much!"

"We hosted a small birthday party here and did a reservation ahead. The staff was fabulous to communicate with. Definitely suggest arriving a few minutes early to fill out all required forms. I did not get the managers name but she was super easy to work with and I wanted to thank her directly for being patient with my grandfather who recently underwent surgery so he can present pretty aggressive and bothered. Once settled he’s fine but get really frustrated with simple tasks like email. Although he wasn’t the friendliest the staff were very patient and accommodating and I thank you because his health isn’t great and you guessed it he does love cats. Thank you so much for gently communicating rules and boundaries to the kids and being patient when you had to remind the littles. I would rate this place 10/10. Very relaxing. Excellent staff. Adorable cats."

"We adopted two kittens from Cups & Claws and we had a GREAT experience! We adopted Sampson & Wilbur, now renamed Spicy Spaghetti & Cucumber. The whole process was incredibly easy and I absolutely love that they check to make sure you’re a responsible pet owner. You can really tell how much the owners truly care not only for the location but also for each cat that is welcomed there. If you aren’t quite ready to adopt, you can stop by and hang out for an hour just to grab some kitten snuggles! I am so grateful for Cups & Claws! What a great place doing such an amazing job with caring for these pets ❤️"

"My family wanted to take my niece for her second birthday here because she enjoys seeing all the cats. First impression will always last. It was an amazing place. They serve coffee or alcohol drinks if you want it, but most of all it was actually really relaxing and a chilled environment with plenty of cats that you’re able to adopt through them. I highly recommend it. It’s a shame that I live in Texas and I was only here on vacation because if I lived here, I would go here multiple times throughout the week even though I’m a big dog owner it was more of a peaceful retreat for my vacation. Also, I love the indoor area very decorative multiple cat ramps, all along the wall, cat tunnels, and all the cats are very kind and loving. Also so much definitely adopt Skyler. I love how she looks and loves petting."

"Cups & Claws is a WONDERFUL organization, made up of extremely hard working people. It's been said that "it takes a village" to achieve many things. Whether a paid employee, a generous volunteer, or one of the many rescues who showcase their sweet babies there, all the folks that make up the Cups & Claws village are passionate about helping these kitties live their best lives until loving, forever homes can be found. I wholeheartedly recommend Cups & Claws! Even if you're not looking to adopt, you can go hang out with the kitties and decompress from your busy lives. All your stress will melt away with the purrs and cuddles you'll receive during your visit! This place is exactly what Newport News has needed for a long time. Cups & Claws - Winner, winner!
