What People Are Saying
from Google"So my experience was with a delivery order. The catering folks at the Newport New location were great! We had an event at my office for 35 people. The food was delivered on time. Crystal and her crew did an excellent job putting together the box lunches. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had the Bayville Farm (Roast Beef) sandwich. The French bread was pillow soft on the inside and a crunchy crust. The flavors are to be savored slowly with his sandwich. Oh, and the cookie! Delish! If you haven't had a sandwich from Taste you're missing out. Thanks again to Crystal and her crew for a great experience."
"I love TASTE, this was my first time at this specific location. It is very spacious which is nice, but it was very loud at 11:45 on a Monday. There's plenty of seating and they had a good number of high chairs for kids. There were a lot of issues with our order - they forgot the tomatoes on my sandwich, and they forgot the avocado and bacon on my mom's salad. Once I asked for these items, the staff was quick to bring it to our table. As is the case everywhere, I feel like it's quite pricy... Lunch for two adults and one kid was $45, no alcohol or dessert."
"We had no idea at we were doing and had to ask. We got a paper menu to look over. I had been told that they had good Mac and cheese but it wasn't on the menu. The menu reminded me somewhat Panera. We got a turkey sandwich and a salad with apples and goat cheese and candied nuts etc. Since we were taking out, we didn't sit down, but stood standing and watching. They didn't seem that busy but we realized they were also working on call in orders. So we had to wait a little bit. The prices seemed a little high. HOWEVER, I will say we were VERY impressed. The food was VERY GOOD! Everything was extremely Fresh! It was a good size. It tasted awesome. It was Better than Panera! I wish we had one closer!"
"This is a fantastic spot for a swift and satisfying business lunch. The menu offers a diverse selection to please any palate. Additionally, the shop provides a range of items, perfect for a quick purchase. You'll appreciate the convenient location and efficient service. It's an ideal environment for a productive midday meeting."
"I was excited to revisit this place because it has been many years. I had the Peter sandwich on french bread, and it would have been so much better had it not been overly saturated with dressing. The other sandwich ordered had the same issue, way too much dressing. The other sandwich, a southwestern wrap, was described as just ok. The bagged potato chips were the best part of our meals. Three sandwiches with chips and fountain drinks along with two cookies cost around 55 bucks after taxes."
