"Pricy, Good food, I had crab cakes eggs Benedict, The food was on the cold side. Tasty. Service was ok, the isle between tables is narrow makes for a bottleneck and the tables are kind of close. The artwork on the wall is all for sale and very interesting!"

"This restaurant is located within the East Beach Shoppes plaza. The hours are: open 7 days/week from 7am to 2pm. They offer 14 different daily specials. The staff is very friendly and professional and the chefs did an excellent job preparing the food. If you are near East Beach, Virginia, I highly recommend dining here."

"Had breakfast here with our extended family on a Sunday morning. We were accommodated with seating near each other even with our large party. The servers were patient as we decided what we wanted to eat and allowed us to split bills the way we needed to. Even with all of our food, the wait wasn’t too long and the food was warm and fresh when it came out. Sandfiddler delivered a delicious, satisfying breakfast that was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this for a vacation breakfast."

"Such a cute spot in East Beach right near the water. This is a small family owned business where they take great care of their customers. Everyone is so friendly. Sundays are the best days for brunch so it was pretty crowded but we only waited about 7 minutes. GET THE HOME FRIES you won’t be disappointed. I enjoyed my meal. I had Canadian bacon with scrambled eggs and pancakes. I wasn’t a huge fan of the pancakes. They were very sweet but a little dry. Our food was kind of cold because it seemed like everything was done cooking and they were just waiting on one more thing before bringing all the food out. It was still good don’t get me wrong it just could have been a little warmer. The atmosphere is very family oriented and comfortable. I’m definitely going back because the menu has a wide variety!!"

"My goodness what happened to Sandfiddler Cafe. When we are in town this is our go to place. When our friends visit this is where we would take them. After a year hiatus, we finally were able to come back and it will probably be our last time, which is unfortunate because this place was great. We walk in (July), and the ac is ridding the struggle bus, it warm. I tell the gentleman at the desk we are a family of 5. 2 adults, 3 kids (not little kids but 14 year old ages). The gentleman seats us at a table for 4. When I tell him I am going to pull the 2 top over to the 4 top I am met with an eye roll. Okay, cool. Our waitress Nina, I am not sure if she’s new, or had some other things going on or just not that great of a waitress. We waited 10 mins to place our order and nearly 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive, I had to ask her for our drinks. One of our orders wasn’t right but Nina is no where to be found. Drinks stayed empty in a restaurant with a struggling ac in July, order isn’t right, and we waited and waited annnnnnnnd waited. Other employees did walked past our table with not even a glance or an acknowledgment when we tried to get someone’s attention. Photo of my bacon omelette. Jeff, the former owner, was always walking around checking in with his guests, interacting with his employees, and created a very welcoming atmosphere. Leadership makes a huge difference"
