"Simply Social Coffee in Reston has recently opened and quickly established itself as a premier neighborhood spot. The staff offers friendly and attentive service, and the café serves high-quality, gourmet coffee and tea, complemented by a diverse selection of food options, including breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and smoothies. Inside, the space is spacious and inviting, featuring white walls, wooden furniture, autumn decorations, a modern electric fireplace—a signature element across Simply Social locations—and large windows that flood the area with natural sunlight. Renowned for one of the best coffee spots in Northern Virginia, it is a good choice for coffee, pastries, breakfast, and quick bites. The menu is crafted from fresh, high-quality ingredients, ensuring optimal flavor, nutrition, and quality. The pastries, especially the Honey Pistachio Kouign-Amann, are exceptional. It was a pleasure to meet Kathy, the owner, who kindly came by our table to share her story. Ample parking is available for all customers."

"Had a chance to visit Simply Social Coffee for lunch today and spent a couple of hours working from there—and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The food, coffee, tea, interior, and overall vibe were all on point. I ordered the Spicy Black Bean Wrap and it was freaking delicious. Fresh ingredients, served warm, and a wrap that’s a huge step up from the usual cold, forgettable versions. I’m a dirty chai tea person and went with spicy (not sweet) and almond milk—zero regrets. It absolutely delivered. A couple of hours later I ordered a lemon ginger tea, and that was just as good. Given the choice between a coffee chain or a typical lunch spot, I’d choose Simply Social every time. Definitely worth checking out. Note, I added spicy slaw to the wrap."

"What an adorable coffee shop! The drinks are delicious, the food is fresh and tasty, the space is thoughtfully designed, and both the owner and staff are friendly and approachable. They start with Counter Culture Coffee beans, so, a good base layer for their drinks. Counter Culture Coffee is solid. When I went most recently, I had a large mint tea, a Caesar salad chicken wrap with avocado and a pumpkin spice white mocha. The chicken wrap was just the right amount of salty and crunchy and delightful. The latte was everything someone who loves fall dreams about. Sweet and creamy, full of gentle warming spices; a well-balanced drink. Getting latte art in your oat milk drink makes a lactose-intolerant customer smile, BTW. There are a few gluten-free items in their bakery case, and some things that can be modified to exclude gluten on their menu. There are water fountains by the restrooms. Important notes for accessibility: there is a wheelchair, friendly ramp that can access the shop from the parking lot, on the left, but it’s long and would be challenging in ice or snow. The bathrooms are single use and big enough to easily accommodate a wheelchair and have proper grab bars. If you’re nearby, you should definitely check this place out. It is 10 pounds of charming in a 5 pound bag. I hope they’re successful for a long time."

"Very pretty and nice atmosphere. I ordered a decaf flat, it was yummy. The owner, as I believe, is super friendly, brought the coffee to my table. Outdoor sittings are also very good. A couple of dogs were sitting outside with guests outside, one of servers brought water bowls to the dogs. I am glad to find this place nearby."

"Simply Social opened a new location in Reston! Super excited because I love their other locations and this is walking distance from me! Gives me a great way to start my long commute to work and school 😁 There is ample space to work, chat with friends, and enjoy the outdoor patio area they have. The staff is super friendly and I hope this location does well 🥰 Love the addition of a mini waffle/cookie with your coffee! Prices are also somewhat better than neighboring coffee shops but depends on what you get. When you come to the shopping complex, there is not a large sign but the cafe is located on the second level. You can park towards the middle of the complex and take the staircase between businesses up- where you will see signs and the coffee shop."
