"Good quality ice cream, very much enjoyed the specials: matcha cheesecake (gelato), matcha/strawberry and mango lassi. The green apple sherbet was OK. All kept very cold, so be patient to let it soften enough to really taste and enjoy! Prices are really not bad for high quality home made ice cream. Pleasant service, bit of a wait as only one staff this afternoon and quite a few customers after coffee etc. Would recommend ana return without hesitation."

"Overall, it is a nice and cute place. The ice cream is good, too. I have a few suggestions to improve the customer experience... First, I do not enjoy eating my ice cream with plastic soup spoons. If you get some small and fancy spoons (like the gelato shops, for example), that would make the ice cream taste so much better. Second, for the gelato, they listed "dark chocolate" and under it "raspberry," which I thought were two flavors, so I ordered one scoop of each. What was my surprise when I got a big cup of black chocolate raspberry all mashed together. It was quite the disappointment. It would have helped if the ice cream was on display so that we could see how each flavor actually looks like."

"I got very lucky and walked in here after work when there were no lines, I just walked right up to the counter. Had a nice chat with the girl behind the counter who shared the history with me. I learned about Bev, who was in business for like 20 + years who sold the company years ago to a college student and how this young lady now works there too. I looked around and saw all the newspaper articles, and accolades on the wall of fame. There was a sign on the wall that said " ice cream solves everything, and I cant disagree, nothing I love more than ice cream all year round. There were so many delicious treats on the counter, cookies, brownies, cakes, and I noticed they sell ice cream cakes and cones too. I love a good waffle cone, but today was about the tea and brownies. Next time ice cream for sure! I eagerly grabbed that brownie and chose my favorite tea ... Earl Grey" Creme Tea. If you are a tea drinker, then you know this tea smells like heaven. Even the girl behind the counter couldn't deny, and she said, omg this smells so good, I'm going to have to have one tonight too. I was so glad I stopped by here and sampled a bit of Richmond history!"

"I like to use a wood spoon instead of soft plastic to dig into this homemade ice cream. Ice cream is delicious but the place is small, AC is cool w a water cooler, but I have to wipe the water in the floor a few times as I also get the free water to go w ice cream. I did not expect black sesame flavor all flavors taste good."
