The cupcake ($5) itself is a dense cake and acts as a base foundation. Unfortunately, it tastes like a box cake. Wish it tasted more homemade and moist. It does add a nice balance, though, since the frosting has the sweetness and flavor. The buttercream is smooth and satiny. Delicious overall."

"Recently visited Cameo Cakery and Cafe with my family and I was thoroughly impressed! It was a cute and cozy place and we felt right at home. We had one of the Croissant Sandwiches, three of the different savory Bundt Cakes, and the pimento cheese plate. They were packed with flavor! To end the meal we had a cupcake and the affogato. So... Delicious! I look forward to returning to try other items on the menu! We enjoyed the food and the service!"
