"cool old school Italian Deli in Richmond. I had the Industrial and it's the best Italian sandwich I've had in years. Grilled till the cheese was melted and the peppers were just right, just a little spice but not too much. Highly Recommend! my son got the cheesesteak, he's super picky but he liked it as well."

"Stopped in with a (hungry) new VCU Ram! I ordered the South Bronx Club and her the Fresh Mozzarella Sandwich - both were amazing! Fresh, full and packed with flavor. I haven’t stopped into Coppola’s in a couple of years - this convinced me, I’ve been away too long! Thanks to the super staff that put a smile on a college kid’s face! Great lunch experience."

"Great sandwich! Staff is super nice and friendly. They have wine by the glass. They have some beers in the coolers. Great little place to have a quick lunch"

"It’s a really cute place, very busy which is what made me take notice originally. Very cute space, intimate and cozy. The food was very confidently priced, the bread not quite stale but chewier than I should’ve been. Honestly I wasn’t impressed for a $15 turkey sandwich. A pretty decent wait for a cold sandwich, I’d be prepared to wait and make sure you aren’t in a hurry. For the price I think there are better options that use fresher ingredients, but that’s just my hot take. They are clearly doing well and that’s all any restaurant can ask for these days."

"As someone who is the granddaughter of a former NY Deli Owner, this place knocks it out of the park. Who knew, a place in Richmond?! I was doing about a 10 hour road trip North when I asked my sister to find me a sandwich spot in Richmond I could stop at for lunch. She quickly found Coppola’s. Upon exiting 95, Coppola’s is less than a 10 minute drive and is well worth it. It sits in a quaint, historic neighborhood called Carytown, filled with beautiful homes, shops, restaurants, and cafes. I wish I could have stayed for longer! This was on a Sunday afternoon and I stopped in at about 1:30ish. I waited on a short line which was perfect to peruse the vast menu. I landed on the Industrial, which seemed pretty classic. It took about 7-10 minutes to come out, which I spent looking at the shop items, and memorabilia paying homage to its Brooklyn/Italian roots. I did not choose wrong. This sandwich put a smile on my face for the remaining 6 hours of my drive. I loved the addition of hot and sweet peppers which is not something you see everyday on an Italian sub. The onions soaked up the oil and vinegar which made them impeccably tasty. And the bit of seasoning on top was what set this apart. Such a minute but thoughtful touch on a mound of deliciousness. If you are in the area, don’t skip out on this spot. I can’t wait to go back to Richmond!"
