"I've been coming to Idle Hand for at least 6 months now and they never disappoint. Unless they've run out of your favorite pastry. The staff is super friendly, patient, and willing to explain what is what. My favorites are the Chorizo and gouda croissant and the cubes of any flavor."

"My favorite bakery! Everything is excellent. You must show up early or they will be sold out. I’ve had a baguette, ham & cheese croissant, canelle, spanakopita croissant, lemon poppyseed roll, chocolate chip cookie, blueberry muffin, and chocolate croissant. Chocolate chip cookie had walnuts. But it was probably the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve had in a long long time."

"Fantastic local bakery! The pastries are absolutely fantastic - can we talk about the flakiness of their croissants? It's just beautiful! 😍 Seriously though, very very impressed. There are a lot of bakeries in Richmond, but these pastries are amazingly priced for the size and taste! Plus they have a great selection of teas and coffees. There's very limited seating (all outdoors), but if you live nearby or are walking in the area, it's the perfect place to pick up something tasty to go! They also have a dedicated vegan selection (they were out of normal raspberry danishes so I got a vegan one and it was honestly better than some non vegan danishes I've tried). Highly recommend - if I lived near here I would definitely be a regular!"

"We got 3 Vegan pastries (Cinnamon roll, Chocolate croissant, & pecan croissant) all were sizeable and delicious. Service was good and efficient despite the place being very busy. Highly recommend for Vegans and non vegans as they have great options for both."
