"If I could give 0 stars for service I would. Was in a great mood and I went in to order king cakes. There was one in the cooler. I asked how many were available. I was told none and that you had to order in advance. I was disappointed but it was what it was. I was taken aback at the surliness of the young lady at the counter and the owner/baker. I figured I’d buy some cookies, which I did. Oatmeal chocolate chip. Two stars for the cookies. Honestly, they were ok. I started to leave and thought, heck, let me order some king cakes. I asked if I could order some, they asked when…I said, “..any Tuesday, Thursday or Friday…” I thought this would give them time to recoup from the impending snow storm…and regroup. The baker said, “..$100 minimum order for delivery…” They were surly and make it truly hard to fo business with. Three years ago I had some delivered. The people I dealt with then were kind and polite. I tipped generously, very generously then to the young man who delivered those less than 5 miles from their store. My son has his car on campus and I could have had him pick up the king cakes. Glad their business is doing well. The attitude inside honestly reminded me of the Seinfeld Soup episode. Entertaining for sure. Went shopping in Carytown later, so many kind people in so many stores and the restaurant we had lunch in. Had a great day. God bless."

"I’m a bit of a sandwich snob and not a huge bread lover. I have to bring bread into my house due to a family members request. This place with its clean ingredients and delicious loaves is just what I needed. I got a multi grain loaf and lunch box. That sandwich was so delicious! The veggies fresh, the meat and bread was just delightful. The cookie was huge. I shared it and was full until dinner because the sandwich was packed!"

"A true staple in the heart of Carytown Richmond. We have been coming to this place for over 25 years and it never disappoints. Many selections of bread and bakery items and a select menu of sandwiches. They also sell craft jams."

"Ordered through GrubHub and oh my god. So good and so much for for such an affordable price! I got the lunch box and the cookie was HUGE. I admit, I was shocked when I opened the box and saw that big boy on top. Roast beef was delicious. The spicy mustard and aoil were great and the veggies were fresh. Got it on Challa bread and I WILL be back to buy a whole loaf. Snickerdoodle cookie was perfectly soft and chewy 10/10 would recommend"
