"Scotts Shawarma is located inside Scott's Market. I had never tried shawarma before and really wanted to so I called and spoke to Mamoud, who was absolutely fantastic! He made suggestions about what to get and how to order. I am so glad!!! I ordered the mixed platter (chicken & steak) with rice. Wow!!! They did not disappoint! The portion is huge, it was fresh and still hot when it arrived. It was incredible! See the photo. Will definitely continue to order from here!"

"This place is a rip off, from a +$9 carton of Oreos to a +7 jar of mayo the prices are outrageous. They are also one of the few conscience stores that don’t sell news papers. Every time I go I leave disappointed, that’s on me"

"You know the food is going to be good if it comes from an unexpected place. A hole in the wall, a random gas station - we’ve all found those hidden gems where you’d never think to go there, but the food is worth it. I’d consider Scott’s Shawarma to be one of those. Tempted by good reviews, we wandered into the unassuming space (convenience store meets deli and market) and were immediately greeted with a gust of amazing smells. Spices we couldn’t identify filled the air with a mouth-watering aroma that immediately prompted us to order. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and warm, and served our order quickly. It should be noted that the prices were on the higher side for such a casual environment (where isn’t that true these days?), but the food came out fresh and hot. We ordered a mixture of beef and lamb, which I don’t usually care for - the meat was zesty, well-spiced, and not gamey at all. We scooped up the creamy hummus with slices of piping hot pita and just barely sampled the hot sauce (which burned with the power of a thousand suns). To finish, we devoured the falafel, which had a moist interior and crispy exterior. It was delectably crunchy and a perfect complement to the fresh (if a bit watery) tabbouleh. I’m hard pressed to think of a better lunch. Though some might not want to splurge on a meal from a quick-service deli, I found it was delicious and well worth the price for the generous portions and fresh ingredients. If you’ve got fifteen dollars to spend at Chipotle and you want something new for lunch - you know where to go."

"I had an incredible time at Scott's Provisions Market! The food was outstanding, the drinks were fantastic, and the Redfern Hemp edibles were a delightful surprise. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff made the experience even better. If you're in the area, don't miss this gem! It's a must-visit for food, drinks, and something special with their Redfern Hemp edibles 🍔🍹🌿"

"I used to really enjoy coming here, especially since I live just around the corner. Lately, though, there’s a woman working here who’s always on her phone and chatting with someone else instead of paying attention to customers. She doesn’t make eye contact and comes across as pretty rude."
