What People Are Saying
from Google"We made reservations since we heard they were doing a Christmas Pop-Up theme. Went on a Sunday Evening and they had a good amount of people there watching football. Lots of screens and a large bar in the middle. They actually had 2 bars, just the second wasn't open. You can also get a beer card and serve yourself from a quite of number of taps they have on site paying by the ounce. The staff was top notch! From checking us in, which might have been a manager or owner whomever he was super. Our waiter was really great as well, matter of fact a couple, when we moved to the bowling another waiter made sure we were all set as well. Once a lane opened up the manager came over and got us all set. It's not a true duck pin lane, pins are on strings, but it was a lot of fun! They even have order a pizza and get 2 games free. Place is pretty big. Lots of seating, especially for large groups and near the second bar they had it all set up for a private event being catered. Large patio. Lots of fun, food was good, great place to check out a game and have a drink."
"In early August 2025, I reached out to two venues—Movieland Bowtie Theatre and Scotty’s Taphouse—to host my son’s 12th birthday party. Both offered duckpin bowling, which was perfect for our multigenerational gathering. While Movieland never responded to my inquiry, Scotty’s stood out immediately with prompt, professional communication. From the moment we booked, Scotty’s delivered excellence. They offered flexible reservation options, a robust menu with catering choices, and affordable pricing. The food was delicious, and the service was truly world-class. Our server and staff were attentive and kind—providing a cake-cutting utensil, offering to store our birthday cake in their fridge, setting up the bowling lanes, and checking in frequently to ensure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every guest—from the 12-year-old birthday boy to our 83-year-old matriarch—felt cared for and included. Scotty’s didn’t just host a party; they helped us create a joyful memory that our family will cherish for years. Highly recommend Scotty’s Taphouse for any celebration that calls for fun, flavor, and heartfelt hospitality."
"We hosted a company outing here. The outside area was great for cornhole. The duckpin bowling was a blast! The food spread was incredible. The drinks were perfectly made. Service and atmosphere get an A PLUS!"
"Ive visited twice, to see local cover band Bombshell. They seem to be ironing out some kinks still as they are fairly new. The first time the space in front of the stage was crowded with tables, which they stacked by the stage around the skeeball area. The second time they'd moved the skeeball and set the tables up in that area so there was still places to sit and eat. The back area (front, I guess since its by the entrance, has a large patio space, with garage doors that open to connect the inside and outside spaces. I havent experienced much of the food, but what I did have, pizza, was good. The bathrooms are right inside the entrance and can have long lines. The venue is disabled/wheelchair accessible. *safety: parking is not easy, but not the venues fault, obviously. But there are tons of security both inside and outside the building. The outside is well lit, both the entertainment area and the sidewalk. Security is constantly moving around and checking exits and people."
"Beer was closed and they didn't seem to have many othere options. The hostess didn't even look up from her phone as we walked in. The bartender gave us menu's and once we looked it over we left. There was more staff than customers and they seemed more interested in chatting than working. Maybe I will try again as I have heard good things."
