"This was our fourth time dining at Six and Sky. The atmosphere is always fantastic, and the food has consistently been decent — never quite amazing, but generally good. We went tonight to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and from the start, it was clear our waitress was having a rough day. She remained polite and professional, but her heart just wasn’t in it. When our entrees arrived, two of the sides were completely wrong. The kitchen sent out a massive clump of mashed potatoes and an equally large clump of grits. The potatoes were cold, and the grits were so bland they could’ve doubled as wallpaper paste. 😂 My daughter’s risotto wasn’t even close to done — not “al dente,” but downright crunchy. My fish was so dry that after three bites, I had to give up. To their credit, our waitress did ask how everything was, and when I explained our concerns, the restaurant took two entrees off the bill. That gesture was impressive and much appreciated. We’ll likely give Six and Sky another try, but next time, with slightly lower expectations."

"We came in for a late lunch/early dinner. We were not rushed, which was appreciated as this was a long overdue hangout with family. We had tuna tar tar, brea with honey, short rib, steak, and salmon. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. With a lovely bottle of red wine. Over all a wonderful experience"

"An upscale restaurant that gives you an amazing view of Roanoke. Food was great, well seasoned, perfectly cooked. We had the bread service (ask for extra butter), baked brie (the fig compote yum!), filet and then short ribs. Would love to highlight the service from Ian. Great young local lad that was funny and personable, and held a great conversation. Host for the night was a rockstar too! Sad I didn’t get his name to recognize him. Bartenders were friendly despite being slammed! The views are incredible and they’ve done a great job of creating places to take photos for special memories."
